To geld or not to geld? I'm not sure, but I'm going to lend the choice to you.Β

Why geld him? Though his conformation isn't impressive, just put him in the RC instead. Someone else can make use of him if you don't want too. :)Β He's young, so he can become something, if someone takes the time to work with him.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still work him, gelding or not, I just want to see what others may think.Β

I don't see any reason to geld. He's just a normal store horse, and there's nothing actually wrong with him. With the right training he could be a great horse. If you're going to keep him anyway you might as well keep him intact. If he ends up amazing at least you'll have the opportunity to breed him, and if you decide you don't want to then it'll be no different to if you gelded him, but at least you'll have that choice.

I wouldn't geld him, but I probably wouldn't breed him either. Pretty much what Ulysses said.Β

If I had him, he would only be bred once or gelded. I wouldn't breed anything more than once if it has a confo lower than 55 in my opinion.
