*Starting Bid in Auction House

I have two ideas, either of which would serve this purpose.
On auction websites like eBay, you can see the seller's reserve price, so you will know if your bid is too low to purchase the item. Having a visible reserve price would perhaps make the auction house a more useful buying tool.
The other option is to create a starting bid, such as the minimum bid feature in straight sales. I would know right away if I wanted to bid above the starting bid.
As it stands, I don't want to bid unnecessarily high in the auction house to try to purchase a horse, but if I miss the reserve price, I may not get the chance to try to purchase the horse again.
