A More Accurate Number For Shows

#111424 Posted on 2017-06-26 21:20:34

I already created all of my shows and I can't make anymore. When I went to show my own horses, I found that there were only four L4 Dressage shows, one of them being a club show. I checked the number for the shows and it says "Shows Going To Run In 24 Hours". I feel like it'd be more helpful to have at least another box for "Shows With Available Spots" or something that tells you how many shows there are because no one wants to look through all of the shows for every discipline and level. Idk this kinda just annoys me, idk if this is just me. Idk if anyone else has had this problem, but I feel like making shows would be easier and it would get rid of the need for show requests or having to request more shows.

Are you making sure you are typing in "100" in the max fee box? It automatically shows you shows with a max fee of 50. But the higher level you are, the more expensive shows get.

There is a known bug where the number of shows available according to the table on the show creation page is sometimes much higher than what's actually available. I think it may be because it's including shows that are full but haven't run yet.

I agree that this table needs to better reflect what's available so that people can better create shows where they're actually needed. The issue isn't just that it's including shows that are full, but also that those that are almost full are counted in the same way as those that are empty. This can give the false impression that there's plenty of room for horses when there really isn't.
