Do you only breed your studs a certain number of times?
I'm interested for my mare, Butterfly Effect, but am particular about trying to keep breeding in their pedigree minimal..

I keep my studs for my own lines if they're not open studs.

It also depends on if I have mares available to use them for - atm I think I actually have more colts/studs than I do fillies and younger mares. They get one breeding as a young stud, and one as an older stud. 

I'm still developing my lines, so they're limited to the public atm outside of the horses I'm selling due to overcrowding. 

So in short, no, studs won't be bred lots of times as my foundie lines aren't developed enough and I don't have enough mares from outside lines to use them for atm.
