Are the giving only one allele of, for examlpe, Silver (Zz) or there's any chance to get both after using one item?

You get to choose exactly what the gene will be, both alleles, so by using the silver DNA tweak you'll get a choice of changing the gene to ZZ, Zz, or zz.
