[ADDED] *Searching By Generation

I am sometime just looking for a foundie but is is hard to seperate and look through everyones Lineage. To add a search where you specify like the age but with generations. Does anyone like this? Why or why not? Thanks in advance for anyones comments. Also, is there something that we should add?

I like the idea of a tick mark for Foundations or Generation horses, but I'm not sure about a specific generation search.

I like this idea. Or, at the very least, give some sort of indication that a horse is a foundation without having to actually click on it. I frequently search for foundation stallions; this would be so helpful.

Support. I was just wondering the other day why this wasn't an option.

I support in either an icon to show a foundation, or a tick box to search for foundations vs. lined. 

I think searching based on how many generations a horse has would be too difficult to code. 

<sup>Could always have Foundation / Short Lined (2-5 generations) /  Long lines (5+ generations) options rather than calculating a whole generation (some of which go back 20-30 generations). I doubt anyone who is actually looking for a specific generation will be looking above 4-5 generations.

I like this idea a lot. It will make it easy to pinpoint foundation horses and save lots of time :)
It would be cool to have Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3 and then like a Gen 3+ or something 

I could see it being difficult with horses that are of mixed lineage - one foundation parent, and one with 18 generations or something, though as long as the search pinged the longest-lined point in the lineage, I imagine it would work all right, and might not be too complex from a coding or use standpoint.

Maple's idea of having categories, like foundation, short lined, and long lined rather than specific numbers is good, and I can see it being simpler while providing the functionality.

Regardless, I would REALLY like to at least be able to search for foundations specifically!
