Can we still use HTML in newsletters?

Since we had the new BBCode system added I notice we have the same set of editing buttons on club newsletters, whereas previously we had none, and could only use HTML, but not BBCode.

Has anyone tried this out yet? I want to know if we can now only use BBCode in newsletters, or if both are available. I don't really want to test this by putting together a complex newsletter, only to find it's illegible because all the code breaks.

I've now been able to test this, and HTML is definitely available in newsletters, as well as BBCode.
