[Cinch] Meet Cruze

So some of you have followed my horse endeavors. If you recall the paint babies I was looking at, I decided not to go with that route. At the time I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to afford a horse and have time with my full time job (with full time came health insurance that costs just as much as my board, hence I wasn't sure at the time). But now that I've been working for awhile, we've done the math and we were all set in stone to buy again

So I started casually looking. It's super early in the year, but I like to start early. Well, I decided to pursue possibly getting an Arabian as that's a huge dream of mine. My heart sunk after getting repeated amounts that were way higher then I even wanted to consider.

A breeder contacted me and offered a potential breeding lease. I was going to breed her POA to her Arab stallion and bring her home. But I was a bit paranoid about that scenario, so I chose to pass.

Instead I went and looked locally at a filly. I liked her and she was ideal for what I'm wanting. The breeder had one more due and since I liked the filly, I offered to put a deposit down to hold her. She refused and also stated someone else was coming to look. So I asked her to call me when she knew

Well, the next day the breeder I talked to about doing the lease messaged me saying she just had a stud colt born and she would sell him at the pricing I was looking for. She's a good nearly 6 hours away, but I chose to ask if I could come down to check him out. So I made the journey (15 hours, 665 miles round trip + stops).

I am soooooo in love. I bought him on the spot. He was born yesterday, 5-5-17, so he's a Cinco de Mayo foal xD

He is now being registered as "CCA Mayo My"

His barn name is going to be Cruze

As for names, I was thinking the same honestly. That sounded the best I think.

Magic Tigar is a cool name. 
Cruze fits him so well!

Someone suggested Mayo My (pronounced My Oh My) and I'm really tempted to use that. lol but then I also like it when people use bloodlines... ugh decisions!

I like Mayo My too haha.

As his sire is Tali Tigar, something like Talisman might also work, although it does leave out the dam

Here's an updated photo of baby Cruze, just shy of a month old. He turned one month old on June 5th. How has he grown so much already... Can it be October yet?!
