Yesterday, both of my trainers texted me to say that they're both moving barns to a place almost an hour away from my house. I was completely devastated to hear that I wouldn't be able to continue lessons with them and I didn't know what I would do. After talking with my boss (a girl a year older than me) about it, she told me about one of the trainers who needed a leaser over the summer for their horse. I talked to the trainer about it a little and the horse, Warren, is a 17.2 or 16.6 hh chestnut thoroughbred who does almost everything. He does Western, Jumping, Dressage, Cross Country. AND the owner's sister (or cousin) is also a trainer whose horse River does Eventing. They both have very similar training styles to my previous trainers and I might still be able to take lessons with one of my trainers on Warren if it's okay with his owner. One of my trainers also recommended that I lease a horse named Sparky. I'm still really sad about my trainers moving barns, but I have so many new opportunities now! I'm so excited!

UPDATE: Turns out my trainers will still be training on the property, they'll just be moving their horses to a different barn. This is great news, but WHY DID THEY WAIT TILL TODAY TO TELL ME!!! I was all ready to pick out a brand new trainer, but now I don't have to.
