Stats Questions

If a horse has a certain discipline, does increasing the stats for that discipline help it win shows? Or is it just your horse's overall stats that help it win?

Also, since the color genetics tend to be realistic with the breeds in real life, are disciplines on here the same way? Like if I put an Arabian specializing in driving, would that be detrimental to it gaining stats in the long run or something? Would it help it gain more points/stats if I made it endurance?

A horse's breed doesn't affect how it does in shows or how many stats it gains. Only the stats for its discipline and its training level affect it. So yes, increasing the stats for the discipline helps. The points a horse earns from shows are just based on how many horses entered the show and what place it came in. The stat gains are random and only for the horses who win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
