Understanding shows and the game time

OK so its the 13th and I've been entering my horses in 10 shows a day since I started playing on the 5th.

I've manually clicked forward time a couple times that I can remember but It seems like the last 24hrs no time has passed for my account.

I still have less than 10 shows results since the 11th. (the 11th are mostly in but I notice I've got none from the 8th and 9th of April)

I got on late the night before to feed, water, etc. So yesterday might have been a fluke but today my horses are still full.

I guess my questions are..when does a 'day' start? Why are my show results not coming in?

You get notification in "Yout Activity" section about ended shows only when your horse places 1st, 2nd or 3rd. When he/she's not in top 3, you don't get notified about that.
I guess that you can entry a show within 24 h since it started. Maximum amount of horses is one show 15, when show is full, it starts when last horse join it.

A new day begins around 4:00 am EV time (clock is on green bar on the left under "Currently...") - then you can take care of your horses, train them and use their 10h "working" time :).

Im a newer player too. I had a similar post like this one because I thought I didn't understand the "game day" either. However, this is apparently a game glitch that needs to be fixed and the horses and shows not progressing is a problem for many players right now.
