When you upgrade, do you still have to pay to increase the horse limit for your account? And do you still have to buy divisions?

Yes, you still have to pay to increase horse limits and to buy division, but you can buy more divisions if you're deluxe. (I think it doesn't matter with horse limit)

Also, totally different question, what is a "day" on here? I assumed it was 12am-12am EV time but this morning everything is still the same as yesterday (horses still entered in shows, treated, games played..etc.). I did upgrade at about 9 pm EV time last night, could that have something to do with it?
