New Foal "Treating"

#100530 Posted on 2017-04-09 22:14:17

I wanted to ask before I went ahead and screwed up my ponies.

Since foal training has now been added, thus they are not assigned a discipline when they are born but upon the completion of foal training/turning 3 years old, is it safe to feed foals that have a selected discipline PRIOR to the new foal training hay cubes and NOT ruin their stat distribution?

Reason I ask is because I personally select a foal's discipline when it was born. Under the automated treat menu, those foals still say "Western" next to their names. So I am not sure if I can feed them hay cubes or not because I don't want to mess up their stat distribution if their discipline is ALREADY selected.

Does anyone know with *absolute certainty* the answer to this?

Thanks much!! :)

I don't use hay cubes so I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but with my foals that I'd already selected Western before foal training came out, the stats they earned from foal training were only in speed & intelligence. The stats from the treats I fed them during training were added immediately after feeding. And completing the foal training didn't change their stat distribution at all, they have the same non-specialty stats that they've had since birth. Hope that helps!

After the foal graduated from training I was change the disapline like I normally do. As for new foals with out a disapline yet I have one on hay cubes which I'll set wrong and convert and one one the proper treats for the disapline that I want it to be. Hopefully I be able to see what works best in the new system.
