Make stats from trail rides relevant to horse:

When I first saw that you could get stats (if rarely!) from trail rides now, I was quite excited! Even a rare stat point is a fun and nice little bonus. However, it quickly became apparent that the stat point you gain appears to be random, as riding one of my driving horses netted an agility stat point.

One stat point here and there isn't a huge deal, and the points are quite rare, so I know it's unlikely to dramatically affect how well a horse shows or anything. But as my ultimate goal is to get the non-dominant stats of my horses down to single digits or to 0, I don't want to sabotage that by accidentally getting stats in the wrong place.

Now I've not been trail riding, just because I'm afraid of messing with my stat balance.

So my suggestion is to make it so that any stat points you gain while trail riding will be one of the two types necessary based on that horse's discipline. (This is the way it was on the older version of the game. As before, if a horse has no set discipline, then the point could still be random.)

I completely support this. Now that riding school gives less treats I want to do more leisure riding to make up for it, but because of the risk of non-speciality stat gain I can only do it with retired horses.

I support if possible because I used to only do the ridding with foals I was going to convert but now with new foal training thats out.

I completely agree with this. I don't do leisure riding for this very reason.

I'd rather it revert to the way it was in the old version, though maybe with far less chance for any sort of stat gain (and definitely no random stats - I didn't even know that was a thing since I've never gotten any) since there are already too many other ways to gain daily stats. As it currently is there's really no reason to do it, since even getting normal treats is extremely rare, unless you just want to kill time or something. Also prefer to see it give out far fewer "extra turns" since they're not needed.
