Grimwood Manor's Horses

← View All Horses

The Carriage House at Grimwood is home to our lovely driving horses. It is the only other original building other than the Manor on the estate, of which was built in 1896. The stables inside are intricate and cozy, with massive stalls that are perfect for our larger draft horses, or sometimes when a stall is empty, it is used as a foaling stall. The back portion of the carriage house is for tack and cart storage, and the loft has been renovated into a rider’s lounge area, as we no longer wanted to keep hay in the loft (fire safety reasons to preserve the building for years to come).
