This is our Akhal Teke & Andalusian herd. Here at Gunsmoke Rose Ranch, we breed our Akhal Tekes for rare colours, the sooty gene, and paint patterns, while avoiding the grey gene. Our high stepping Andies are bred for colour, the silver gene, and eventually we'd like to cycle in rabicano as well, while still avoiding greys. Both are bred and trained for Western stats. Our desert jewels, the Akhal Tekes, are named after any non-Western books I've enjoyed. Our regal warrior steeds, the Andalusians, proudly carry Western themed names, from gun types, to things associated with the old west times/cowboying/rodeos.
