The Story of Abdullah's Landing

Abdullah's landing was a much anticipated filly when she was born. Foaled by one of our legendary mares, the palomino mare Abdullah, who also carried the genes for frame splash, we had high hopes for her colour. Upon birth, we were... dissapointed.

Sired by a chestnut sabino stallion we had sold on to Wild Mustangs Haven, we had hoped for a palomino with sabino only like the sire. Instead we got a chestnut with frame splash for a filly. While this is not the colouration we had hoped for, she is a well built foal.

A bit of a loner, preferring to stay with her mother instead of playing with the other foals her age who were in the fields.

There was talk about selling her, but we decided to keep her, in the hopes that she would take on her mother's legacy and become a champion in her own right. Time will tell, and we will soon find out! Her mother placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd a grand total of 420 times!
