"Breeding Clean Lines!"

Transfer/Buy & Sell Policy: Any paint horses that I have bred that are at risk of ending up in the rescue center I will happily take back, no questions asked. I also try to keep an eye out for foals I have bred, or that have come from an outside breeding, for sale and will pay reasonable prices to have them back. As for horses that are not connected to my program; I am always looking for clean horses to expand my program and will buy new studs and mares for reasonable prices, I often start in the rescue center as I am aware that most foundation bred (or horses with only a few generations), low confirmation, low stat horses end up there most often.

Breeding Goals: Working on breeding diverse Paint Horse pedigrees, some being squeaky clean and others only being first page clean, secondarily working on low NSS numbers and high confirmation to improve showing. Each horse's public notes list all foals out of that horse, their base statistics, base nss, confirmation. These numbers are highlighted green to show improvement or if the number is equal to the base numbers of the parent whose page you are on. Numbers that are red have not improved, most of the time this seems to reflect the other parent and have improved for their base numbers instead. The color, gender and a link to the other parent are also listed. If both parents are owned by me the foal will be listed on each page, allowing for comparison, as well as rebreeding pairs that create clean foals that regularly improve on both parent's numbers, and on the other hand to show pairs that result in poor quality horses. If any horses have had foals that are not clean, they will be marked as such. Training Goals: Training daily from birth to three, selecting a specialty based on highest stats then continuing regular training to improve skills. Feeding specialty stat-based treats, regularly switching to improve their lowest specialty-based stat.

Showing Goals: Until my stat numbers improve enough to make showing more worthwhile, I am going to mainly focus on Lessons and Trails, occasionally showing during the week.
