Leaftail - Thunderclan
When the two-leg appeared, Leaftail darted into the shadows. The two-leg was loud and walked with long stomps. He stifled a laugh when Cherrybranch stuffed the bird in her mouth. Most of it hung out - it was so big- but it was sufficient to scare away the two-leg. When the two-leg left, Leaftail reappeared like a phantom. He had found a pile of leaves in the shadows to lay in, disguising his mottled pelt even more. "Smells good," he commented, breathing in the scent of the large, dead bird. He glanced around the barn, realizing he had entered it when he had hid. He shrugged to himself. The other birds were squawking, flailing, and flapping like they were mad. "Loud things, aren't they?" A larger one jumped to the floor, strutting. Leaftail noted it's spurs and eyed it warily. "I think we should leave before that one decides to defend the flock," he murmured.

Stormfur - Riverclan
"I ate just a little bit ago, it's fine." She smiled, then lifted her paw from the scales of the fish. Turning to the river bank, she scanned the waters. "I'll catch a bit more. After we snack a little, we can hunt for some other prey and I might teach you the technique later." She saw a flash and plunged into the water. She resurfaced with nothing to show. She climbed from the water and gave her wet paw a lick. Try again.

Cherrybranch nodded. "Eat up first."

Leaftail - Thunderclan
He cocked his head. He thought it would be better to take it back with them, and start a fresh-kill pile. But maybe this would be best. They could hunt for the pile on the way back. But only on our territory. His stomach rumbled in compliance with Cherrybranch. He grinned at her, then turned to Stormclaw. "You first, deputy."

"After you have eaten we can make camp." Cherrybranch said, looking at the sinking sun.

Stormclaw grinned "ok" he pulled off a legs and stepped back, "tuck in". A thought struck him "hold on shouldn't we move, will the two-leg not be angry if she catches us??"

Moonpaw greedily tucked into the small fish, it seemed like the liquid gold in her mouth, she'd missed fish a lot. She watched Stormfur fish trying to pick up the technique.

Leaftail - Thunderclan
The mottled tom looked around uneasily, agreeing with Stormclaw. Make camp here? He thought it better if they made their way back. He didn't really like being near the two-legs, and making camp near here would make it practically impossible for him to sleep. The only place he had slept well recently was that pile of leaves near the clan's camp.

Stormfur
She stared at the water, tail tucked against her legs as she sat. More flashes, and she shook her head. The fish were quite active today. She dived in and returned with a squirming fish. It wasn't small, but wasn't big. Stormfur dragged herself from the water and placed her paw on the scaly creature.

Cherrybranch winked. She leaped up a huge pile of straw to a ledge under the roof.

Stormclaw

Leaftail seemed uneasy and so was he so he spoke up around a mouthful of delicious meat "maybe we should head back to the forest, I have yet to see the state of the camp since it was abandoned" He wanted them all to agree as they were the only survivors of thunderclan he didn't want any disagreements between them now.

Moonpaw

When she finished her fish she watched Stormfur try again and again until she had another fish "this takes a lot of patience doesn't it?" the young cat was desperate to begin learning more hunting techniques, warrior moves and everything that she missed from her apprentice training.

"Trust me", Cherrybranch called from the ledge."Its not good. Besides, Leaftail won’t be able to handle it."

Leaftail
He growled at her, his temper unusually rising. "I think," he bit out through clenchedbteeth, "I know what I can handle better than you guys." He paused, trying to get his anger under control. When he spoke again, he was a bit calmer. "I can handle seeing our clan camp. I've seen plenty of abandoned, sick destroyed places. What i can't handle is this barn. It makes me edgy." He apologized with his eyes for his first outburst.

Stormfur
She grinned at Moonpaw. "It takes a lot of patience." She faced the river, then turned back to the other shecat. "Go hunt some furry or feathered prey. Meet me back here. I'll teach you to fish when you return."

Stormclaw

As Cherrybranch started winding up Leaftail he frowned and quietly laid the tip of his tail on the toms shoulder "I agree with Leaftail we shouldn't spend so long in this place" he thought what might persuade Cherrybranch down from the ledge "if the two-legs suddenly find 3 cats in their barn they might not let any of us back and we'd loose this vital prey source." Stormclaw didn't think this actually was a vital food source, it was took far away and really very risky he thought but it might persuade Cherrybranch to come back to camp with them. He wanted her to come with them she was a happy soul something both toms needed around but he would not force her to follow them.

Cherrybranch narrowed her eyes. "You won’t like it." She though back to the ThunderClan camp. Completely destroyed dens, the scent of sickness, rats... She shuddered. "You really want to go to see the camp?"

Stormclaw

He was concerned about the camp and from Cherrybranch's tone of voice he thought it might be much worse than he expected but his mind was made up "yes, I need to see it, even if you two don't come with me i'm going back tonight" he said decisively but a fear began to eat away at his heart, what if Thunderclan camp is just gone? Or so ruined we can't live there? Where will we live!

Moonpaw

It was so nice to have someone to talk to and someone to tell her to do things so she knew she was getting them right so when Stormfur asked her to go find some forest prey she leapt into action. "Ok i'll be back soon" and with that she disappeared into the brambles. She hunted along her usual paths near camp to start with, she followed the scent of a mouse for a while but when she neared it's den she could smell the sickness and quickly moved on. Having just been hunting for herself she'd realised that birds where much less likely to be infected, in fact she hadn't found any diseased birds, she wondered if their feathers protected them from the disease. Remembering this information she climbed half way up a tree and sat to wait, this was a common spot for birds as there was a hawthorn tree below with bright red berries on. Before long a wag-tail arrived and Moonpaw jumped from the tree and caught it with a paw stroke as it tried to take off. She quickly hid it and waited again.

Cherrybranch reluctantly slid down from the ledge and tumbled into a pile of straw. "Lead the way" she sighed.
