Different art for mares and stallions.

There isn't really a purpose in my eyes.
Think about it in real life. It's almost impossible to tell a gelding or stallion from a mare (without looking at their belly). If you're wanting it to be realist, I think it's not really that at all.
Sorry, but I just can't see this to be worth it!

For people who don't have auto-care and check their horse pages every day though, it might be nice to have foal art.

I would have foal art for just the first year of life - as soon as they hit 1 year old it would change to the adult art. (We could maybe consider yearling art in the future?)

As for the workload and cost, the artist and I discussed it after completing the main breed art. We wouldn't necessarily do foal art for every single breed - we would create categories which use the same foal art. Those that are relatively similar in appearance (TB, Warmbloods, etc) would get the same foal art. Any breed that doesn't fit into another category would have their own individual foal art (Friesian, Chincoteague).

In fact, here are the "groupings" that we made:

- Arabian + Welsh Pony
- Friesian
- Shetland Pony + Miniature Horse
- Akhal-teke +Trakehner + Dutch wb + Morgan + Thoroughbred + TWH
- Andalusian + Lipizzaner
- Appaloosa + Mustang + Quarterhorse + Paint horse
- Chinco
- Clydesdale + Gypsy Vanner

Edit: Just realising that the foal groupings don't make a lot of sense in relation to this particular topic, but it was just to clarify really that the foal workload would be minimal. :)

I'd much rather have foal art over this. I myself separate my mares from my stallions, so not knowing what sex they are without going to their stats isn't a problem for me. I know that not everyone does this, and not everyone wants to.
And Wicked, you said "The thing with the foal art for me is that it's going to serve zero purpose.", well for people like myself you don't want to use/cant afford auto care/treat and all that, I'd love to see foal art. And as said before, because I separate mares and stallions, different art would serve no purpose for me as well.
I'm not against the idea completely, but I just much rather see foal art implemented first.
