[yeon] updating rules on my designs

Mini rant below. You've been warned.

Right. So I'm pretty lenient on my rules, and honestly have few regarding what you can and cannot do with designs/adopts you buy for me. I rarely have problems with people when I sell adoptables/designs; in fact, this is the first problem I've had in years now that I think about it. But today I experienced an issue with a deviant that quickly escalated from me being mildly annoyed, to just downright angry.

They purchased a design from me, and asked to be able to modify the design. In this case, changing all the red points to orange. I told them I wasn't fond of having my designs changed, but after talking she convinced me to go ahead and make an exception. Only it wasn't the only change she made. In fact, she modified the design so heavily that it was no longer even recognizable as the original design. When approached about it, I politely asked her to either stick closer to the original design, or that she would need to remove the design and I would refund her. To which point she tried to argue that "it was now her original design" and that she could keep it even if refunded (aka ripping off most of my work) when the only thing she added to it was dark points to the knees/hocks and speckling - the remaining portions of the design was all my work. That's just not cool, man. Not cool at all. See below for differences.

TLDR; someone butchered a design I spent hours on. I got really pee'd off.

That said, I have modified my rules regarding my designs on here (as well as my adoptables on deviantart). They can be found below. Feel free to save them if you like, but I've linked them to my home page as well.

How did you even manage to not flip on that person? That's serious talent... being polite in situations like that.

It took every ounce of my self control to not chew her out, to be honest. I'm usually short tempered and very easy to anger haha. In the end though, she's blacklisted and blocked, so she can't pull this nonsense in the future :P

Good question, thrash.
(tbh it looks very ugly with orange instead of red, in my opinion)
