Onism: Made An Oops!

Hey there EV,

So recently I made a bit of an "oopsie" - I didn't credit the free base/s I have been using for my siggies and tags. That is entirely my fault - I haven't been on a horse SIM before with such a large art community and I saw that free to use bases and etc is very popular on here, hence why I just jumped on the band wagon.

BUT, obviously I didn't realize/see/notice that the artists needed to be credited. [which is actually just a plain b]DUH [/b]that I should've thought about, I know.]

I literally just saw the word "FREE TO USE" and took it from there. I really and truly never meant to steal or copywrite any art for anybody, I just didn't take the time or effort to read their rules for their free art. 

The reason I went with the free bases, templates etc is because I was scared my style wouldn't really gel well on here, since the style that trends on EV seems to be quite realistic, whereas my style that I draw in is very cartoony. Anyway, from now on I'll probably just end up drawing my own stuff, in my own style, and if it doesn't sell then oh well! ♥ 

I have given refunds to those who have bought my non-credited art, and I'll be taking a tiny break from EV - mainly because I'm super embarrassed but also I'm busy in the real world. c: 

I hope that this clears things up, and that I can start on a new and clean slate from 2020. I promise I'm not a bad person, I can just be quite ... ditsy. I hope that nobody holds a grudge against me and that we can forgive and forget. I really, really love this game and you guys and I'd hate for this small oops to skew anybody's view of me or my art. 

From 2020, look out for some more sales for me - this time, in my style. ♥

I just wanted to say that admitting one did something wrong (or incorrect), apologize and learn from it is not things a bad person would do. 
I think it is very brave to make a public apology like this! ♥

When you have time to draw I would surely be interested in a sig or tag.

@Onism, it takes a mature person to own up their mistakes. We all make mistakes, that is part of being human. Making mistakes is how we grow. (I never thought this mistake was malicious at all, that copyright stuff can be complicated!)

You are a talented artist! I look forward to your future art sales and will be keeping an eye out for them.   :)

No hard feelings at all, we all make mistakes and the fact that you owned up to it and refunded everyone is great. Don't be embarrassed, have a Happy and safe New Years ♥ 

As the others have said, there's a great bravery in admitting your mistakes! I'm sure everyone forgives you.

Personally, I actually vastly prefer more cartoony art to realistic art, so I'm very excited to see your future works. Was your current tag made by you? If so, I'm even more excited, as that style is very cool. :D
