July’s Raise A Rescue Contest

 

(Duration 2nd July to 29th July 2018)

Sign ups must be in by 30th June 2018 by Midnight EV time

 

Horses will be sent to players 9am (My time approx. 4 am EV time!) on 2nd July

 



Sign ups for the contest will run from Fri 8th June to Sat 30th June 2018.



Please Msg me or post on this Forum thread which horse you want for the Contest (IE – I want Contest horse 4 pls!)

 

Rules –

Horses must have their discipline set to Show Jumping or they will be disqualified

Horses sold during the Contest duration will be disqualified

Horses must be fed Discipline Specific treats only - Carrots (speed) / Yellow Apples (agility)

Horses cannot be fed Hay Cubes / Sugar Cubes or any other Special Treat (to make if fairer)

Horses names can be changed (IDs will be logged by the Club prior to being sent to you)

Max 2 horses per player please!

Daily Training is not mandatory but obviously the more you log on the greater the chance to win!

 
 
Help -

Horses can be Treated / Show Trained / Riding School trained to gain stat

Horses earn Points / Money Earnings / Rosettes by entering shows only

 
End of Contest -

If you do not want to keep the horse you can give it back to the club to be sold & the money raised put back into the club for future contests.
 
Or – you can do whatever you want with the horse!

 
PRIZES (4 chances to win)

 
Horse with most Stat gain – 1 Credit & $75k EVD
 
Horse with most Points earned – 1 Credit & $75k EVD

 Horse with most Total Rosettes (1st/2nd/3rd) - $75k EVD & 2 x Sunset Beach Backgrounds(worth $70k)

 Horse with the most Money Earned - $75k EVD & 2 x Sunset Beach Backgrounds (worth $70k)

 
PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE THIS IS AN EV SITE-WIDE CONTEST CREDITS WILL ONLY BE AWARDED TO PLAYERS THAT ARE REGISTERED MEMBERS OF THE EV JUMP! GUILD SO GO & JOIN NOW! ($500 ONE OFF JOIN FEE)


CASH PRIZES & BACKGROUNDS WILL STILL BE AWARDED TO NON CLUB MEMBERS HOWEVER :D


PLAYERS CAN ALSO WIN MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY STATED ABOVE

  

Contest Horses (Breed & Gender is unimportant they were chosen for SJ suitability)

As you can see it’s close at the top & technically there is a tie for the Rosette’s Gained so as a slight tweek to decide the winner if there is a tie for the total gained there’s 3 options :-

1) Use the most number of 1sts to break the tie

2) declare joint winners with a 50/50 share of 1st prize

3) declare joint winners & find the extra for what will be essentially 2 lots of 1st prizes?!

 

We’ll see how generous I’m feeling at the end of the contest! Besides the tie might break by then!

I'd like to say a HUGE thank you for everyone that participated in the July Contest. The dedication to training is a credit to you all and as I am so impressed even those who did not top the leader boards will be taking home a $10k EVD prize!

Now you all deserve a hard earned break so there won't be another contest til at least the Autumn (Fall if you prefer!) as I shall be away on vacation End Aug & early Sept.
