[EVAC]Mascot Contest (Voting OPEN)

^{If the title didn't tip you of, The EV Art Club is finally hosting a contest to find us a mascot to love and pamper, here are the details ^.^}

^{The whole point for the mascot is so we have something that represents the club, is developed by the club, spoiled by the club, and so on. The concept of the design is more important than the quality of the design. We will provide lines that you can choose from as the base for your entry, however, you will need to have a program that can open .psd files. I can provide transparent lines if needed. If you have any questions or need the .png lines, feel free to shoot me a message!}

I have completed an entry - I'll post it here for the moment (I'm hoping this is the post Ruby meant in their PM):


He is supposed to look paint-splattered in honor of the EV Art Club.

What was I thinking, You ask? Well, pottery is a type of art, so I made him a bay base to kind of replicate that color. I gave him a pretty appy coat that looks like when you flick paint from a paintbrush (hope that made sense) and brindle and roaning. Each leg marking has a letter of 'EVAC'. Lastly I made on a blue bg to make him pop. And, yeah, I did some greyscaling because this is for the art club after all. Hope you like!

Okay so, i went for a natural base design for this mascot, which was a mealy dark bay splash just to make it slightly easier for recolours, then i got carried away and added some brindle patterns (which could be interpreted

A nice good morning from Germany,

I accidentally discovered this competition and try it once. I usually do backgrounds and this is my first attempt with a horse.
May I introduce you: This is YEARRED (the name is made up of year and Jarred).
YEARRED represents the recurring seasons at Equiverse; just as the EV Art Club is present at EV all year round.
Since I did not know if I was allowed to paint over the line, I only let the snow out of the winter season as a test. If that is allowed, you can of course adjust it for all seasons (spring flowers, summer roses, autumn leaves).
It was great fun to come up with a proposal for you.
I hope I get the picture uploaded to the club contest. ;-)
