Could you pay with EVC at all, or just EVD? (I'm collecting EVC to continue my Deluxe.)

I also have to admit I'm not 100% sure if I want to sell the sooty tweak, at least for now. I was hoping to get some offers and see what it's usually worth and then decide if I want to sell or keep it.

Unfortunately, I must fix some of my horses and I would prefer to not spend EVC right now.
I can take pangare, silver and flaxen for 300k then if you want to keep sooty.
