I SUPPORT THIS! Especially since some people haven't been on their account in months to years!

Maybe a happiness bar limit? So say a horse is bred and they're happiness goes down by 10%. Studs on inactive accounts won't be able to fill up the happiness bar without becoming active again. Active players can regain the bar back pretty quickly by doing dailies.

Though I'm not sure how low the bar should go. Maybe after 50% the horse is no longer intrested in breeding and takes a break. Chills out etc. This would force users who are using other accounts to farm their studs to roll over the accounts.

Plus I think it adds a little realism/small challenge. Nothing really big but ^^ I think it give another reason to take care of your horses.

I don't care much for that solution because that places a limit on how people use their own stallions that have been advanced.  I generally oppose anything that places an artificial limit on people's breeding choices.  If you can only breed your stallion five times, tops, and someone intends to breed their stallion to ten mares on its last possible breeding day, that is a problem.  Also, that would mean fewer stallions would be put up for stud, because people wouldn't want their stallions all used up when they have breeding plans.

And yes, I know there are people around here who think limiting breedings is a great thing.  I stand firm that this should be a personal decision, not something enforced on a player from the outside.  After all, it is standard practice in real life horse breeding to have a top stallion bred many, many times.

This issue is still unsolved. I am a new player, I hit 6th lvl today and I was in a rush, cause I thought I will be able to breed all my mares now. But I can't. I bought 15 mares to level fast and to have fast upgrade in my breeding plan and now I can't breed my mares with stallions just because owners "didn't roll over today". I was checking them earlier in different times of a day, even right before 4:00 am and there was always the same statement. IT'S RIDICULOUS! Did I waste my time with this game?

And It's been almost a year since this issue was posted, 72 people are supporting this and nothing has changed? Why? No one is caring about what players would want to change or what? So disappointing...

This is so annoying. I hate it. I was out looking for some Shetlands for sale yesterday, and looked for about an 1 and a half, and threw 4 pages of results 1/2 of them's owners hadn't rolled over in forever, a small amount of them were too expensive, and all the others hadn't been vet/shoe'd that day. Ugh. I totally support this.

the only other Clydesdale stud that is not mine, and is my specialty hasn't been rolled over for 5 days. My poor stallion is on a over load of breeding. Maybe I'll pick one up from the rescue. But still... you get the idea.

I just came back from over a year to this issue lol

Yeah, I agree with what almost everyone has said. It's weird and prevents people from playing the game. I hope it is changed soon.

Or if we cold at least search for rolled over studs only. It would make it so much easier.

@Blue Fruit Stables, faster for sure.

But it's not exactly the point. The game would grow much better without this illogical feature.

@ Arty: That is a fair enough argument, but this game is supposed to simulate real life as much as possible, and in real life, there is a limit to how many mares a stallion can breed in one day, simply because he needs to rest.  It's the nature of raising animals.  In real life, the odds are pretty good that a stallion would not be capable of breeding more than 3 to 5 mares a day, so Maple's idea is actually quite fair.  Electronic horses not tiring alters how things work.

That being said, I would like to be able to set a limit on syud services to a stallion, myself, because I do not like my boys to be overbred.  It just means I keep running into horses for sale that are too closely related to breed to mine, and that is not good for outbreeding.

I think its fine the way it is now. I don't see any need to change anything with the progression system. If some one hasn't progressed their account just find another stud.

Unfortunately it is not always possible to find another stud. Especially if you are searching for a rare breed/discipline. If someone is looking for specific color, stats, conformation or anything really and there are no other studs available this can be devastating to game play. I would agree adding 2-3 days of breeding availability after the account has been progressed. It would likely help boost the market and get people using outside studs/broods more often.
