*BBCode bugs

• Special characters shouldn't be changed to HTML code when edited.


• The old [*img=] has been replaced - [*img][*/img] should be used in its place (sorry).


• [*horse=] and [*member=] tags are back but will only work with a matching closing tag ([*/horse] and [*/member] respectively) and will not appear on the bar for now.

Ugggg... I typed in LunaKitty #99805 a different color, clicked save, and my page just pretty much exploded. Can you guys see what happened on your computers? ;_;

@LunaKitty, I'm pretty sure it's the font size issue Ulysses mentioned above. Basically, the sizes are different in the new BBCode and when you edited your page, it updated everything to the new BBCode and your text got the new size which is way bigger. Just change it to a smaller size.

CHANGE IT? That will take HOURS. Ugggg, fine...

Text still does not center, it goes to one side or the other. Really off sizes. Can't get links to work, can't make clickable links like before

I updated my settings on my page. Now my homepage looks drunk. HTML is not my forte does any one know how to fix things? 

Fix it deleted stuff and updated till it went back to normal.

For anyone having trouble with HTML layouts breaking, there is a known issue with style sheets, which means they don't handle white space well. Any layouts that haven't been modified since before the bug arrived will be fine, but if you do modify it and you have <*style> <*/style> tags within your layout, you may find the whole layout breaks.

As a temporary fix go to your layout, copy and paste the entire thing into a text file so you have a backup, then do the following:
1. Look for the <*style> <*/style> tags
2. Within these, find all the code with curly braces, which is probably of the form:
.something {
 stuff;
 more stuff;
}
3. Change it to this form:
.something {
stuff;
more stuff;
}
4. Essentially you're just removing all the extra spaces from the start of each line.

If this doesn't fix the issue, or there's further issues, please post here.

Ugggggggg. My computer doesn't let me copy and paste my home page, so I have to either type EVERYTHING again, erase it ALL, or leave it like that and be the most irritated I have ever been.

^ Although it looks pretty awful now, if you can tolerate it for a little while it might be possible to just wait for the bug to be fixed, in which case everything will either return to normal automatically, or you just have to save it again without making any changes to fix things.

I will have a bug fix for it when I have some time next, sorry it's taking so long.
