Plot
You just turned eighteen, and it is now the time for you to be matched to another. And this has been the tradition since the beginning to our civilization. And you are ready to go along with it. But now here are a small, almost unnoticed group of rebels. These rebels don't want to be matched, and they want to be able to chose their own fate. Will you join them? Or follow Tue rules and marry he one matched with you?

Marriage Rules
Every eligible man and woman should be married at age eighteen (18).
You may not be divorced.
Should a woman become a widow, she must remarry a man of her age.
Should a man become a widower, he does not have the remarry.
A child must be born within the first year of marriage.
A second child must be born within the next ten years after the first
Every family must accept their child.

Rules
Rules have been slightly modified for game play. Please be sure to re-read

1. Even genders! You must make an equal amount of males and females. You may make up to four (4) characters.
-1a. All characters must be played an equal amount! While you may write more per post about a specific character than your other(s), please post all characters in every post.
2. I will be using a random name generator to decide who is paired with who, with abit of my opinions with personalities, and crush.
-2a. No one knows who is being married to who in the role play world.
-2b. When the speaker comes on calling for a fe/male he other room cannot hear that name, only the name being chosen from their gender.
3. Don't beg/nag to be paired with someone.
4. Don't ask when this will start. I need at least four people before I decide to start.
5. I will make sure no one is paired with the same person for their characters, or themselves.

if you have re-read the rules so far put 'Matched' somewhere in your first post, BOLDED.
6. DETAILS. BE LITERATE. 3+ SENTENCES PER POST ONCE WE START.
-6a. Keep in mind that 3 sentences is a bare MINIMUM. And those sentences must be very detailed and explanatory of your character and their feelings/thougts/emotions/etc.
-6b. Being detailed isn't constantly repeating yourself with "detail". For instance, instead of constantly mention Jane Doe's h/c or e/c mention her feelings, or go more in depth with explaining hair or eyes.
7. To be one if the rebels toy must PM me.
-7a. In a lot of people's RPs like this, rebels seem to stick to their personality well, but others don't. Let's try and fix that! Your character must stick to his/her personality! Unless changed (which won't be sudden, nor drastically) by their new partner, they cannot suddenly become a rebellious person, or vise versa.
8. You must be accepted by me to join.
-8a. You must have already been accepted to post. Do not ask if you can join. You cannot.
9. HAVE FUN!!

(Hmmm guessing I should break the ice and start)

.:Skyler Johnson:.

He skateboarded down the street, dodging people trying to enjoy their peaceful walk from area to area. Occasional scolds were aimed towards him, but that didn't bother him; he was so used to that already. Music blasted through his ears as he road down the sidewalk, halfway searching for his destination and halfway hoping he could accidentally not find it and return home. Alas, he knew how unfortunate he was and that he had to go whether he liked it or not. Just the thought of marrying a complete stranger made his jaw clinch. It was against his silent morals. "But it is tradition," his mother would always say with her soft brown doe eyes and sweet dimpled smile. It was such a shame that look tortured him and he grew to hate those eyes and dimples. The fake shown within that look was sickening. It's not my problem that I can't be like dad, he answered her within his skull, but never would he ever talk back to her. The one who raised him and cared for him properly and taught him how to be a respectable young citizen. With all this hatred though, he would never ponder on why he felt such negativity towards his parents. Accept that they were perfection. The perfect family with three perfect kids. No screw looses. Maybe he was the screw loose though. Given to the fact that his mother wanted just a son and daughter and not two boys and a girl. Guess I messed that one up for you, mama.. The sight of the cross made him slow down in thought and he sighed. It was as if he was in his brother's shoes. Before he got married and his wife made him run off and abandon his family. So this is where his freedom ends? He planted his converse to the pavement ground, the skateboard going to a complete halt. He picked up his loyal board and made his way up the polished stairs.

Entering into the large building he could see no one. Early? How strange. This only made him laugh at the irony of having to always be late and people waiting on him. Maybe that was a head start. A tad reluctantly, he walked to the doors which announced Men's Dressing Room. Pulling dreadedly at the handle, he opened the door, revealing nothing more than a small open closet and mirrors. He saw that his mother, the perfectionist that she is, had his tuxedo hung in the closet, evidence that she had been here before him just to make sure he was prepared and didn't mess up things on his big day. No guarantees. He examined the fabric he would be wearing, a small smirk tugged at his face, seeing his last name was labeled on it, Johnson. He didn't want to put it on... not yet. His dark brown orbs glanced over at the mirror, the image it was reflecting was what he saw all his life. Tall tan boy, dark brown hair that was spiked up in the front, proportional facial features, and small gages in each ear. Remembering how he got the gages was an eye roll. His friend stabbing his ear himself behind his parents back. His parents were horrified when they found out. Wondering why such a good looking boy would damage himself. It was only worse when the tattoos came in. That's why you're not the favorite, he laughed to himself.

[Peyton Blak | ♀ | Rebel]

Calm down, you're just marrying some guy you don't know and will probably hate you for the rest of your marriage. Her slim figure walked swiftly towards the large white building. Multiple people gathered outside, but none of which she recognized. She pushed the heavy double doors open, scowling as she realized she has chipped a nail. The one time I care... she thought to herself, shaking her head in dismay.
Her long black and bright blonde ombre hair was in a side braid across her shoulder, but not even close to what the finally product would look like.
When she finally made it into the building, her green orbs scanned the room. Her father, mother, sister, and her sister's family all sat at a table. She had to think for a moment where her twin brother was, and realized a bit to late that a shocked, fearful look had crossed her face when her mother mouthed 'He is your twin' to remind her he to was being married today. Walking into the Girls' Dressing Room, she saw no one was here yet, and clenched the dress thing over her shoulder a bit tighter, feeling a mix of anger, loneliness, and shattered all at once for this place. Adjusting her glasses she hung her dress in the closest, sitting down. It would be a while before she would have to start preparing.

[Eve Vergara || ♀]

Ear buds in both ears, She jogged towards the large building with a big cross. Her spandex pants and tank top both almost completely soaked in sweat, she was thankful she had the chance to freshen up and shower when she got there. Good thing mom told me there were showers. She silently told herself as a soft smile came to her face, which beads of sweat ran down. Her blue eyes closed slightly as she slowed down, feeling the sudden wave of pain and aces all over her body from pushing her muscles past their limits. But she was fairly used to it now.
Slowed fully to a walk, she pushed into the building. Her family was no where in site. "Of course they didn't show up early." She scowled, but honestly didn't care. Hey, if they didn't want to show up to their first child's wedding, why should she want them to? They were probably off blowing money on her brother.
Walking into the female dressing room she ignored the girl already there, and looked around quickly for her dress which she knew would already be there, finding it she nodded in approval. "Now to find your other clothes." She said aloud, finding a bag beside her dress with her name sown on it, her clean underclothing inside. Grabbing he bag she turned, finding the showers in multiple rows, parallel with the toilets. Stepping into a shower she quickly undressed, before turning on the somewhat warm, but fairly cold water.

[Donovan Mc'Claire || ♂]

He sat bolt upright in his bed. He had overslept. Wha...what time is it? he asked himself silently, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He felt a hand on his naked chest, and his eyes widened in shock as he realized it was a female hand. Then he realized who it belonged to; his younger sister. He sighed in relief. Standing up he slid shirt back on, adjusting his pajama pants as he walked out of the room. His mother and father were already eating, and he snorted din disbelief. But he said nothing as not to anger them as he ran a hand through his not very bed-head looking hair. He shook himself before grabbing some clothes from his dresser and walking to the bathroom the get dressed.

|| Adelaide Medici ||

Anxiety was not cool.

Adelaide, with her hands on either side of the sink, stared intensely in the middle, right at the shiny drain. Her breath came in odd, unpatterned gasps and tears streamed from her face. Not from sadness, but from the feeling of not being able to breath. A few times, she would make unintentional retching noises, and her tongue would curl into a gag. Her stomach, oh, her stomach felt as if she had eaten a can of live butterflies that were thumping furiously from side to side, trying to make her vomit.

It would be another ten minutes of this process before she calmed down and was able to sit on the floor with her back against the wall.

Anxiety was not cool.

This was the second episode she'd had the very morning, nervous for the upcoming day. It was not unlike her to have bouts like these, but they were usually not this aggressive. Then again, she was not usually about to be married to some man she had probably never met before in her life, nor did she want to be. If she could run away from the community right then and there, she would. Adelaide did not want to get married. She did not want to have a child. Not now, not ever in her entire life. Babies... they were disgusting creatures.

---

The white dress hung before her, and Adelaide stared at it as if she was staring at the cancer that killed her aunt. It was a horrendously beautiful dress, one her mother had picked out when she had stubbornly refused. A single strap crossed over the right shoulder. The neckline was an elegant curve, and the bodice of the dress was snug with only the faintest races of silver sparkles outlining minor details. The skirt was a ballgown style with at least seven layers of fabric to it. She hated it.

[I don't have time to post with every single character every time I'm on. My access is limited, and I'd rather get two posts in than none in at all and have you guys continuously wait on me. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to follow that rule every single time I'm on if you want me to ever post, because that would just take way too long, and I'd rather spend time with my family than an hour trying to catch up on roleplaying.]

|| Isaac Waters ||

Ever since he was a boy, Isaac had always been a very punctual individual. So much so that when he arrived at the church in the morning, he was the first one to be there to get ready. In fact, he was already completely dressed in his proper attire and everything, ready to go at a minute's notice. No way would he risk being ill-prepared on such an important day. This was a day of making a good first impression, and he needed to have time to calm himself down and think in order to do that.

His thoughts flashed back to just four years ago when he was in this very church on this very day, watching as his elder sister, Hazel, was called up before the entire congregation, given away to a man she had seen only twice before. She was kind, though, and very open to him just as he was to her. They were a perfect match and fell in love almost blindly. They had a daughter now- Isaac's niece- named Fleur. She was a cute child, and Isaac loved her dearly, but he wasn't sure he was ready for his own little Fleur. Would the woman he was matched with eb as kind as Hazel was to Marc?

Tris "matched"

Tris pondered around as she paced in her room. She felt like a caged animal, she needed something ' trouble" was the name of it. She felt the slightest nerve to get into trouble and do something bad. She didn't know what though. She was to be matched with someone this year and she was not pleased with it. She was angered about the tradition, and she sometimes thought what would happen if she threw the whole system off balance. she didn't know who she would be matched with nor weather she would like him or not. she gritted her teeth as the thought as she scanned the room. She stepped into the car that awaited for her as she saw the dress she was to wear. She gave a hesitant look as she scanned it "it is ugly!" that's all she could think of it.

Rick

Rick quickly slipped into his room as he walked to it and he saw arrangements of flowers set on the tables and decorations everywhere. He looked at his tuxedo, an arrange of a corset stuck on it. Black as the cold clear night yet as white as the snow on a clear winter day. He opened the door to his room as he peeked inside of it.

( didn't know how to really start out so I just did that????? don't know if that was how we were supposed to start out???????????)

MATCHED

~~Rosemary~~

Rosemary had on a knee high rose dress that fit to her curves. the dress had a belt around the waist, and she worse brown heels. Her hair was left down to use as a curtain to make her feel like she was hiding from the people's stares in the white building that her parents drug her to, to be there early like they are for everything. When the other girls began to arrive her mother urged her to hurry up and "Go!" to get ready in her dress and follow her instructor.

Rosemary got up and held her head low, placing one hand on her arm and rubbing it nervously. Her stomach felt like it was fluttering and not in the good way, it was making her sick, she felt a little faint and couldn't catch her breath. One she got to the dressing room she walked over to where her mom had put her dress and her things she might need. Makeup, things for the shower to freshen up. She got her shampoo, razor, and conditioner as well as body wash before getting in the shower to get cleaned up. She wasn't sure what to expect from this guy she was to marry. She knew nothing about him and just kept hoping that he was nice. After she had finished washing up and shaving she stayed in the shower a little longer, just holding her forehead against the cold wall and let the water run over her head as she closed her eyes tight, as if maybe when she opened her eyes it would all be a dream and she wasn't 18 yet, but no, it was very much real.
She decided to suck it up and turn the shower off and get out after drying off and began getting ready, slowly but surely.

==Lei==

Lei was walking down the sidewalk, the huge white building in view. His eyebrows furrowed and a slight frown fell upon his face as he wondered who he would see in there. He worse his green hoodie with tan cargo pants and black shoes. He had his hood up, trying to hide his face. As he came closer to the building he stopped in his tracks and hesitated, second guessing everything and wondering if he can do this. He felt that he was still very young and had a lot to accomplish. He was great at just about anything he set his mind to and did, would marrying someone change that? his priorities would change, she would come first, and he would have to work anywhere that made him enough money to support them on top of them being required to have a baby, a baby... the first year. He cringed, as thoughts began popping into his head would he even make a good dad.
Lei jumped slightly when a couple walked by him, slightly bumping his arm. He watched them walk a moment before he inhaled deeply then exhaled. He wasn't going to back out, he wasn't going to be weak so he pressed on.

Once Lei came into the building he looked around for a brief moment for his family, which his mother was there as well as his younger brother and father, his sister was not. His family being there just about made it worse. He headed for the men's dressing room, or, whichever way he thought it was in. Once he found the dressing room he found a suit hung up with his name on it and he began getting ready.

(Hope my post is okay, I'm rusty lol)

A tanned 5'11 girl breathed softly in and out her hazel eyes shut as she slept in her yellow and gray bed. Hazel breathed in and out silently with her eyes still shut not wanting to open them and look around her room, finally after what seemed like years she opened her hazel eyes and looked around her room. Taking a gulp she heard a bang on the door and frowned as her mom entered. Sitting up slowly she looked at her mother with sadness "Do I really have to be matched with someone?" Hazel said her hazel eyed stare floating past her mother and to the door. Silently her mother nodded and rubbed her back handing her a pop tart. Hazel sighed once again and got up of her bed walking to her brothers door.

A tanned 6'1 boy was already up in his room on his bed listing all the problems that could happen to him today at the church. "Throwing up, Tripping, Calling her by the wrong name, and forgetting to be there" he said sighing and taking his hand running his through his dirty blonde hair and blinking his identical eyes that matched his sisters. Hayden heard a bang on the door as his sister came in the room looking tense and worried. Taking a breath he nodded and changed into a red shirt and brown shorts. Hayden gulped and he looked at his sister in her yellow plain shirt and jeans. Sighing he stood up and walked out of the bedroom giving his mother a kiss and father.

Soon the two twins were walking down the street silently at a even pace. Squinting there eyes as the sun hit a white church they looked into each others eyes and entered the building.

.: Skyler Johnson:.

Finally deciding to suck it up and put on the tux, he made his way out, clearly not ready for what was going to happen. He? Get married? This wasn't him. Maybe if it wasn't a law, he would have never agreed to this. Maybe if his mother didn't push him, law or not he wouldn't have agreed to this. He sighed in relief, seeing that some people were already here; anxiety was displayed on most of their faces. Skyler played it off for nothing could make him nervous. Not even being paired up with a complete stranger for the rest of his life. He looked around the room, trying not to get his hopes up whenever his eyes fell onto an attractive girl; he would most likely not get her. He finally saw his parents enter, dressed nicely of course. His mother was clearly rushing them in. It would be a sin if they were actually on time and not a few minutes early. His father was playing off the stress beating off his wife by smiling and waving to the people he knew. And there being dragged along was Skyler's younger sister, Sierra who was already showing her annoyance. She was never the one to dress up and never the one who looked forward to these occasions. Skyler could admit, he missed seeing her perfectly brushed dark mahogany hair pulled back in a large bow. How ridicules she must feel though.
"Skyler Johnson get over here and say hello to your family," his mother said in a tone which seemed so pleasant but at the same time threatening and demanding. As if she was saying: Come over here right now and act like we are one big happy family. Soon you will be gone anyways and I wouldn't have to deal with your young teenage attitude.
He walked over, greeting his family with a smile. Shaking hands with his father and hugging his mother and sister, they began talking about the good times. Far when Skyler was brainwashed thinking everything was actually perfect. Why are we putting on a show for these people? They don't care like you think they do, he wanted to say as he zoned out his mother. He watched the people come in, not recognizing any but he knew his father did. His father was popular. A people person. No one could ever hate him. If they did it was because of his wife always getting on their nerves.
"I can't believe my sweet little boy is all grown up now!" She cooed to him.
Skyler smiled and nodded. What's the point in putting up a fight. He'll be separated from the forever after this day.
