Story Contest! BIG prize!

Beautiful!!! I am going to leave this image on my mind for about an hour before I start my story...I need to let it sit and cook to get you real quality work. :)

What exactly would "horribly long" be? Also, would you like the story to have a plot or more of describing where the manip is taking place?

let's say, 4 paragraphs?

This is the "plot" for the manip,

"Picture the world 1000 years from now.
Will mankind have vanished? Have we managed to eradicate ourselves? If so how? Was it a bomb, a virus, something out of our reach (a natural catastrophe for example)? Are there still people on earth? How do they live? Or have we moved on to the stars? Maybe everything went splendidly, maybe there is no more hunger and everyone has everything they could wish for. Including your personal android to help with your every wish.
Maybe it's a mix of both, neither completely bad nor completely good."

So I am asking for a story involving the plot and how the manip incorporates it. So basically use the manip as a visual based on life on a different planet and evolution and use your imagination to create a back story as to why it is the way it is and use some key points from the plot.

Totally in. I'll post my story when I have time to write it, probably tonight. I'll try to keep it short (I could write a book on this theme, but I'll keep it shortish)
