Design Two Babes for My Pair! (50 EVC prize each)

Hey, everybody! With Nari's permission, I have decided to start a contest to give Math Mathonwy and Golden Koi some offspring using these free lines off Deviantart (please note I have linked to the actual artist's page...please read their rules). Yeah, I know...both are stallion designs. Nonetheless, Nari did say we could modify the designs slightly in Golden Koi's sale and did not say the charries had to remain stallions, so, yeah, sex change fairy strikes!!! Don't mind the stally doo-dad...it's really a she!

That biological conundrum being addressed, this is what I want:
- a colt and a filly (nobody has to do both)
- a combination of mom and dad's appearance
- appie and paint markings are not required, but they should still be unique and interesting
- two-sided ref, please
- you may do add-ons if you like, but please provide versions with and without them, and they should all reflect their royal status
- no fangs, horns, or yucky appendages, please...they need to just be plain horses, although you can give them scars as long as you post versions with and without
- leave naming, personality description, and character story up to me, please

That about covers it! As far as designs that do not win, I must ask, out of respect for Nari, that you do NOT sell or give them away. This is technically like design modification, so they are only for my personal use. Please do not withdraw any entries, either!

As far as the ones that don't win, again, out of respect for Nari, I must say you need to ask BOTH of us permission in order to keep them. If one of us says no, the answer is no. If you do receive a yes from both of us, please do not treat them as Mathonwy x Koi babies...for the sake of my story, their only offspring must be one colt and one filly!

I'm halfway through something and have fallen madly in love ;-;

i went for something natural for this foal. i took the appaloosa-ness from Mathonwy, and the overo-ness from Koi, but to keep a hinting element of Koi I made the eyes the same orange as his/hers mane while using the same color scheme as Mathonwy. I'm personally in love with this foal ;-;

any minor changes you may want to make is totally cool by me

What a beautiful pair !!!! I'm totally interested in participating, but I was wondering how dead-set you were on using those foal lines, because I have a set of my own personal lines in a similar pose here that would be a lot easier for me to color if you're ok with them ! Let me know if that's alright!

@Wey: I probably wasn't very clear in my original post, so my fault, but can you please clarify if you are entering as a filly or colt? :)

@ Shoreline, I would be okay with those lines, just as long as you can flip them and provide a ref for the other side, since the parents are appy / paint types.

Well, I made a stupid mistake. I thought you removed the image link to the foals, so I used a random free to use lineart....then realized the link was still there. Now I have two half finished references on the wrong lines -_-... ya. that just happened. I'll have to transfer them over if this stays open long enough

@Ghost Forever: Yeah, you can design another if you like! I had no rules about how many for each person. :) One question, though...it almost looks like your top left and bottom right go together, and your bottom left and your top right in those refs...is that the case? :/ Also, let me know if you had any genders in the back of your head for them...

Yes that is how they go. I wasn't exactly awake when I did it lol I wil redo it so it's not so confusing :)

Heads up, guys...I am tentatively going to be closing this probably in about two weeks from today...I will message specific artists at that time. I may or may not ask about small changes if you are really close to what I want, but not quite there.
