And then from there we can add plot twists and such.

Description: Flightflank is a darker chestnut orange color with thick dark russet tabby stripes throughout his mid to long length fur. He has a white chest, underbelly, and his front paws and tip of his tail also hold no color. He has a long, bushy tail and is somewhat muscled, but on the smaller side of the Shadowclan spectrum. He has forest green eyes, and they are always full of laughter.
History: Flightflank and his sister grew up happily, though when born their father was very sick from an unknown illness, and didn't survive much longer than a moon after the kits became apprentices. Their mother, though she grieved for her lost mate, continued to be a good mother to the growing kits. The rest of Flightflank's life has been good, but he is gossiped about it seems all the time by the elders that he is the complete opposite of the warriors Shadowclan wants and needs.

Description: Halftail is a dark seal brown tom, but unless in the birght sun often appears black, with a short coat. He is a bigger tom, with thick rippling muscle. His large paws and ears make him a very skilled tom at fighting, making up for his terrible hunting skills due to his large paws. He has, as his name says, a very short tail that looks like the length of a rabbit's (read history). He has deep golden amber eyes that seem to be emotionless, unless he is truly happy. He has one white patch penetrating his solid deep seal coat, and it is a small splotch on his chest that is shaped like a half of a heart. He has scars throughout his coat, most notably one between his heavy shoulder that splits his pelt.
History: Halftail, originally born Thistlekit, was always the favorite of the large amount of kits in the nursery when he was a kit, he showed a true Shadowclan disciplined, hard working, reserved nature and seemed to be try to always be the best of the best. As an apprentice Thistlepaw was great at everything, except hunting. He struggled with that greatly. But the leader at the time, Beetlestar, did not want to hold back his favorite of the apprentices because of this flaw. Thistlepaw "passed" his assessment, though the entire clan knew Beetlestar told Thistlepaw's mentor to give him a piece or two of prey so he didnt have to be held back. Thistlepaw then moved on to become Thistleheart, and he was a proud warrior. But when Thistleheart's first battle came about, Beetlestar lost his last two lives, along with his father Rattail. Trying to kill the warrior who killed his father, Thistleheart lost most of his tail. He didn't kill the warrior, but gravely injured him. When the Clan retuned to camp, and the Deputy, Sparrowpelt, made sure everyone was cared for before leaving to receive his nine lives. When he returned, he noticed the injured Thistleheart, and renamed him Halftail. The now Halftail knew this was because Sparrowstar had always been jealous of how much Beetlestar like Halftail. Sparrowstar then named Glowspot deputy. After Sparrowstar lost his nine lives, over half lost to a very terrible sickness, the same that the warrior Clawtail died of, Glowspot became leader. Halftail was then named deputy, and was still in his prime. Now, a father to Snakepaw, after becoming the mate to the beautiful Flowerleaf.

Description: Like his Windclan mother, Pebblewhisker is a very lithe and long legged tom, with a long tail and long ears with smaller paws and a very narrow muzzle, holding a very strong resemblance to his half Windclan blood. He is a solid light blue-gray color, with blue eyes to match. He as a thick coat, but it isn't very long, still short enough to be considered short coated.
History: There isn't much know about Pebblewhisker and Maplefrost. They were brought to the clan at half a moon old, found on the Windclan border with their dying mother, Birdtail, beside them. She said that their father was in the Clan and that she could no longer care for them. She didn't say who the father was, and he didn't come forth when the toms of Shadowclan were confronted. Pebblewhisker was the runt between he and Maplefrost. He didn't want to be a warrior, and knew he wouldn't be much of one anyway. So he went to Rustleclaw and asked to be her apprentice. She accepted, he guessed because she was quickly aging and the clan needed a younger medicine cat to replace her. He has grown into a very good Medicine Cat, but still learning. It wasn't long after he became an apprentice though, that he grew fond of a slightly younger kit soon to be apprentice; Snakekit. As Snakepaw grew though, it became less of a friendship and more of a love. Knowing though that it was forbidden, Pebblewhisker (paw at the time) tried to push her away, but he couldn't. He tries to conceal his forbidden feelings for her, and thinks he does so well, but it causes him severe anxiety issues, on top of his anxiety from feeling no one but Maplefrost and Snakepaw like him in the clan because he is Halfclan.

Description: Mothheart is very similar to her brother in build, aside from her swollen belly from her current pregnancy. She is long vcoated, slightly thicker than her brothers. Her coat is a light brown color with slightly darker brown tabby stripes. Though her pelt is almost completely solid along her back and tail, her face is patched with white, and down her neck, chest, and front longs and paws are also white. Like her brother she has forest green eyes, though hers take on a bit more of a blue-green hue.
History: Up till they became Warriors, Mothheart and Flightflank were always together. But when Flightpaw became a warrior, Flightflank, he wanted less to do with now Mothheart, and more to do with other she-cats. So Mothheart moved to helping in the nursery, sleeping with the Queens, watching the kits when the Queens began to get back into hunting and patrolling. But it wasn't until Mothheart began taking a liking to Duckfur, and then they slowly fell in love. Not longer after that she went to Rustleclaw, complaining of belly pains, and always bring tired. She was pregnant. This excited Mothheart immensely, and now she awaits the birth of her kits, though she knows not many approve of her not actually doing much work as a warrior, barley ever patrolling and hunting, even before she was expecting.

But then, her father was captured and murdered by ThunderClan during a patrol one night, and nothing was the same since. Her mother grieved his loss deeply, so much so that she became the medicine cat instead of fighting any longer. Now, nearly 3 years later, Glowstar has become leader, and chosen her own deputy. It was a hard decision, especially because both her parents were once mighty warriors themselves, but she chose Halftail. She does not regret her choice.

Lol yeah I think that would be a fun mix. Maybe Glowspot did it to make Flightflank a bit more stern and Shadowclan stereotyped, and to make Snakepaw lighten up a bit, lol.

So I was thinking the death of Burrnose, Rattail, and Beetlestar was how this extreme war started? Going along with your original idea, but just a single warrior's death doesn't seem enough for even Shadowclan to start a war.

Yes, that sounds good. But who from ThunderClan did we kill? After all, it doesn't sound very ShadowClan-y to have 3 warriors killed and not take revenge...

Well, Halftail attempted to kill who killed Beetlestar, but he wasn't sure if that is the same warrior who killed Burrnose or Rattail, though it probably was. Halftail gravely injured the warrior, and so at the next gathering afterwards, the Thunderclan leader announced they had lost a warrior who didn't recover from the injuries.
But maybe instead of killing a warrior or two aside from that one, they just every once in a while extend the bordser line into Thunderclan territory, just to anger them?
