Debating coat randomizer for this guy

This guy will probably be my next cornerstone stud: Crazy Eyes and I'm totally in love with him, BUT I don't really like the bay base coat. I would love to roll the dice and hopefully give him a black base. I love the solid black roans.

For those who aren't familiar, Dutch Warmbloods can only be Black, Bay, Chestnut, or Gray and can have Tobiano and Roan markings only - so for me, solid black roan is the most exciting color

Coat randomizers usually give you rare colors, 9/10 that I've used have, so I would do it just for that sake.

With DWBs coat randomizers tend to give you Ee Aa, but I've gotten some blacks and chestnuts from them as well. I think I'd personally not use one on him since he has the chance of producing black offspring already.

Good point, Aglet. I didn't realize he is EE Aa. I shall save my pennies. Ee Aa would be my least favorite option ever besides Ee AA. I really don't like bays.

Haha black roans are my favorites as well, to the point I custom-made one xD (and am really annoyed by the fact that he's the SECOND best foundation horse I have and not the first xD).
But yeah, in your case I would try to breed him instead of using the color randomizer since he can have black foals

My favorite DWB color is chestnut (ee aa) with double Tobiano. My least favorite coat would be EE AA GG, if I get that coat the horse gets an immediate coat randomization cause I don't like all the homozygous genes, they're too boring. :)
