He watched as the male walked on, but he turned back to see his companion had stayed. He shook his head at her question, for he hadn't stayed long to claim any home yet, even temporary. "I rather stay somewhere less noticeable until I'm of full health," He said, thinking about all the large burrows he would have to dig himself on the sides of trees. He couldn't fight for his right to sleep in an actual cave. "I'll be okay," He was genuine when he said it as if telling himself he will be okay. For a wolf who once carried such ego and self pride, he acting weak and even allowing other wolves to pity him. There was no use for pride when you're almost dead, he told himself.

River cocked her head. "Have you stayed there before?" she asked. Though shy, she didn't want to take another's resting place. And he had hinted that he wasn't well. She definitely didn't want to stay in the cave, if there was one, if he had been there and he was hurt or sick. She glanced at Crow, who had come back. She longed to stay in a cave, the sound of rushing water lulling her to sleep like it used to, but if this wolf had it... she was not thief and considered herself to be relatively kind.

Crow sat down next to River tired of just standing there "we can easily find another cave if it's yours, there's bond to be one in the forest somewhere", he didn't mind where the cave was really as long as it was close to fresh water and it was warm and dry. As he sat there he wondered about the weather, it was a bit cloudy almost like it might rain sometime that day but he was unsure he sighed rain would be good.

"You can have it," he said feeling weak as they sounded like they were offering the cave up and walked on away from the pond. He could find something better for just him. Besides they were there longer than he was. He was too stubborn to take a cave. He made sure they weren't following when he flicked his left ear back. He was heading towards a wooded area away from where they had came from. Maybe then he could avoid crossing paths with them again. His stomach began to rumble, as if tiny needles jabbing into his side. He much rather rest now and gather the energy to hunt later.

Crimson got up, deciding she needed a drink. Shadow was taking a nap by the smaller wolf, Silver. She trotted off quietly, her pace letting her reach the lake fairly quickly. She seemed unalarmed and unphased to being alone in a dangerous place. If I'm in trouble, Shadow will hear me...I hope. Crimson lowered her head, not even checking the surroundings, which at least two of the wolves would reconise her from earlier if they bothered with her.

Crow watched as Cylo left and turned to River "well we should see if there is a cave behind the waterfall", as he stood up he saw a horse by the pond "hmm that looks like the one that was with the other dire wolf Shadow let go say hi to her" he padded over.

River tilted her head to the side at Crow's words. "I believe there is one; Cylo hinted to that. I think he slept in it but doesn't want to admit it. I don't know why, though. I would have let him use it." When Crow spotted the horse, River padded after him. "Oh, yeah." As she recalled Shadow, her fur bristled protectively. River didn't know why and paused for a moment to attempt to lick it down.
