What color background should the ref have, if any? Currently it is white ♥

Anything that you feel would accentuate his coloring. Just so long as he doesn't melt into it.

I'm not talented in the art area. :P I'll give the names a go though.

Norman Bates (Or just Norman, or Bates) - Psycho
Teivel - Yiddish name meaning devil.
Vlad - Vlad the Impaler, Romanian prince, also know as Dracula.
Cyclops - One-Eyed
Barbados - Duke of the underworld in the form of a hunter that is able to predict the future from the sounds that animals make.

Ruki: No rush, this is going to be open for awhile to give everyone a fair chance and so you all dont feel you have to rush your designs :3

I got excited about this, drew some cool lines, then realized I'm terrible at designing characters. xD I'll muddle through something eventually though!

I've been toying with the idea of opening these lines as a part of an open collab with anyone who wants to take a stab at designing this character. If anyone was interested?
I may still try to design something but more than likely not.

I would definitely allow a collaboration. If you did collab, I would split the prize evenly with all participants in the collaboration.

I've never done a reference sheet before. Or this drastic of a color change. Or used wings 0_o I honestly had an absolute blast doing this, but I kept it more simple. I have zero creativity with markings/jewelry so if you wanted something exact I could probably add it. But coming up with it on my own just isn't gonna happen *dies*
