Weirdest. Dream. Ever.

I have no idea if it was medication induced, stress induced, or some sort of arbitrary sign of...what...I have NO idea.


So, this dream involved Stephen Colbert. As a cardinal in the current papacy. I don't remember a WHOLE lots but the skinny of it is he was part of the clergy, he was in the vatican bathroom. As I recall...washing his hands, singing/humming the dulok song from shrek. "Dulok is, Dulok is a perfect place". Except...replace "Dulok" with " The Vatican"

WHAT IN THE WORLD?!

I had a very strange three-part dream this morning, but at least it kind of had a narrative that made sense, unlike Colbert in the Vatican. XD Yours definitely wins out when it comes to overall peculiar-ness.

Oh my, do tell your dream XD I love hearing about odd dreams!

XD I'll try to sum it up.

It started out with me being at a club, which for some reason I knew was in London, and I was there with a friend I have known since middle school. We were preparing to leave and my friend went out the door, but I had to retrieve my shoes (which I had taken off I do not know why XD) and after I put them on I looked up and my friend was gone. I went out the door and started down the street but I couldn't see her.

Then that part of the dream faded into another section . . . I was driving a car, apparently still in England because the steering wheel was on the right, with a couple with their toddler age maybe son in the back seat. Weird I know. Anyhow, I was driving and we came to this river that had broken its banks or something and was flowing over where the road had been. I could see the road on the other side where other cars had made it across. This family urged me to keep driving so with some uncertainty I did, but as I tried to get up the muddy slope on the other side the car slipped and turned to the right and started to get dragged down the river. The water kept going faster and faster and I soon saw there were other cars being dragged along too. I started to mildly freak out - I couldn't determine the course of the car, it seemed and it kept going faster and faster. The window was part open but not wide enough that I could get out, and it wouldn't roll down so I tried the door to see if I could get it open. Some water was already in the car so I wasn't too worried about more coming in, but as soon as I opened the door I shut it cause being a poor swimmer I knew I would not make it out there. Somebody in the backseat of the car said something about the current, and I had some odd idea to turn the car wheels to go the opposite direction, and as soon as I did the car veered off to the right and slammed into the bank near a tree. For some reason there was a hefty chain wrapped around the tree, so I yelled for the dad in this family to get the end to me so we could wrap it around the seat or window frame or something, and we did and somehow all got out of there alright.

Then that segued into another dream where I was staying with the same friend as before in a kind of RV in a camping place somewhere. We left the RV and I saw that it was weirdly positioned at the edge of a hill, which was somewhat muddy, and looked like it might tilt dangerously, but we were busy heading off to do something else so I stopped worrying about it for the moment. We went over to some area where there were food stands, one of which was selling (of all things) oranges. I don't even like to eat oranges but in this dream I was very interested in buying one. I wanted one kind but the seller guy told me it was too strong (how are oranges strong) and I should try this other one cause it's much more eating-friendly. I think I was determined to have the first one I selected though, cause I was going to make something with it rather than eat it. The dream sort of petered out after that so I have no idea what ended up finally happening. XD
