The Stables of Keldable Experimental Lines

Greetings Players,

Welcome to the Stables of Keldable Experimental Project Form. This is where I will record data based on my Experimental Project lines for Dressage, Driving, Endurance, Show Jumping, and Racing lines. Now that doesn't mean for you to judge me based on what I am cooking up in my experimental barnes. The Stables of Keldable started its experimental project line in 2023 using Kal Skriata and Korkie Kryze as our high-stat foundation lines. It goes without saying in 2023 I was peppermint-ing, sugar-cubing, and hay-cubing my horses which caused my NSS to be wanky, but HEY! It's all for the fun of it. Since the start of this fun little project we have added other high-stat quarter horses into our lines, while still focusing on our western high-stat lines on lowing NSS, but that is not why we are here. We are here for the experimental project!

Now running these experimental lines was a bit of a doozy when I returned because players had horses with lower NSS that pushed these experimental out of shows for the time being, but that is no biggy at all, I am merely focused on the breeding aspects right now and will go into the competition aspects as NSS is lowered of course. There have been some breaks, however in our experimental lines using foundations that crossed into various disciplines, I noticed when breeding higher-stat experimental horses that the specified stats of the discipline didn't get much of a gain or lowering of NSS for that matter. which is why there are two branches of experimental lines.

-High-Stat to High-Stat lines

As the name suggests these are horses that are bred for the process of keeping the stats high for future projects moving forward. I try to keep one mare and one stud in each experimental barn to keep. Some examples of our High-Stat to High-Stat horses are Cursed Mountian and Rebel Vina for our Dressage experimental lines. Sure they have more inbreeding than house Targaren but we can breed that out in the future.

-High-Stat to Low-Stat lines

As the name suggests these horses are bred to lower NSS. 1 stallion is kept to breed to higher-stat mares while the lower-stat mares are used to keep the experimental lines going. Some examples of our high-stat to low-stat horses are Bran Ordo Skriata, Ordo Skriata, Ordo's Jos, Queen Goran, Queen Vera, and Styling Candera.

High to low lines are bred to foundations to 2nd gen lines before being bred to foundation lines again. Once the horses have NSS between 49 to 60 Conformation the experimental line of horses' first breeding will be to a higher stat horse and the process starts again with the foal down the line while the dam or sire gets placed with lower NSS horses of 60 or below.

Confirmed Success Cases are foals born to the brand with the desired NSS for the specific discipline. They will have 1 foal born to them before being placed in their proper generation line for breeding based on the sire.
