Showing or Riding School?

I need opinions! I show all of my horses and go through every single one... seeing which ones make more money etc.

I've been thinking about doing riding school for a while because showing takes so much money... especially when I have so many horses to show.

So, how do you feel? What do you prefer?

No expert here but I have a couple of rules that I usually follow. 

1. Riding school until they are within 15/20 stats of going to the next level so they have a better chance at placing and getting stats. 
2. Even if they are within that range, if there aren't shows that have close to 5 horses (so no stat gain even if they place) and I don't have enough horses in that level and disicpline to get it to 5, I'll just go back to riding school.

I figured the potential of 1/2 + stat points and some $$ coming in (instead of out) beats paying money and getting no stat points. And generally I get more than 1/2 stat points in riding school. I found that if I can get back on within 12hrs of putting them in riding school and "complete" it, I tend to get more stat points than if I just leave it until I'm back on the next night.

lately i've had more days spent schooling than showing just because schooling is much quicker to get done. on days i do show i don't really check stats or anything and just make sure as many horses possible are in shows with 5 or more entries, and that not too many of my horses are competing against each other. based on my bank history i still am getting a decent profit from showing.

For me, as long as my horses are winning 5/10 shows; it's worthwhile showing them. Also, make sure there's 4+ entries to a show so your horses have a chance of earning stats. :)

Hmm... okay. I might do the riding school again and then eventually go back to showing.. I just hate having to spend all that money and not make it all back right away.
