I have time to sort but I am talking myself out of it due to the horse slots costs. But, honestly, I am deeply tempted. I just polish up my spreadsheet and I just want to play with it XD

Oh bother! I feel the same way! I really want to start a new herd of Gypsy's and Thoroughbreds. :/

I'm in the same position. so tempted to get rid of some of the random foundies I've got and start a new line of something. maybe Morgans? haven't worked with them much. hmmmm

I want to say that we'll be strong but I have no guarantees on my end xD

I know what you mean, lol, I've been half tempted to start a new line of something as well, but I'm terrible at deciding what xD I was half considering crossing Dutch warmblood and Trakehner for show jumpers? Or maybe something else? Ah! Choices, choices XD

I can totally understand you.Β
I'm really tempted to breed Kisber Felver (Hungarian breed: Thoroughbred x Trakehner), Nonius (Hungarian black-coloured breed: Thoroughbred x Lipizzan), or Gidran (Hungarian chestnut-coloured breed: Thoroughbred x Arabian). Still can't decide which one should I choose.

I am tempted to breed Trakehner, Dutch Warmblood, and Morgans. Their artworks are gorgeous. While I am not the biggest fan of Andualsian and Friesian's artwork, I have a weak spot for baroque breeds...

Of course, my stupid itch cannot beΒ satisfiedΒ by just breeding them. I got to cross them somehow, hence the Iberian Warmblood or Warlander.Β

The logistical part of me knew that I most likely will get bored because I am not the biggest fan of Grade artwork. If we are getting more grade artwork, then I may well be convinced lol.

Part of me wonders if I should just try for purebred and breed Trakes, Dutchies, or Morgans... but, the space!

EDIT:
Ohh, TWH is pretty too.

Now I have this urge to sell my entire herd and start afresh...

Something's wrong with me XD

I think I am getting too frustrated with the current stats and conformation system. In addition to that, there's no suitable artwork for Drum Horse yet. There's no confirmation of that.

This is a slippery slope you're going down, lol. It's basically what happened to me, really though. If you go for a purebred DWBs, Morgans, TWHs could use some more love. :)

@ Olympea, I know DX

I am trying to not give up on my current herd but it's not easy! I do wish the stats update will come faster! It would be nice to have better news on conformation and artwork instead of a generic statement of "maybe, but no promises".Β

If I do decide to breed for purebred, I think I probably will go for Trakes, Morgans, or TWHs. I absolutely adored their artwork since the beginning. I would've gone for DWB if they had more color combinations.

I would love to start a collaborative project with several breeders too! That's another con about breeding for Drum Horse, it's not easy to do collaborative projects. It's not easy to keep track of legit drum horses since they all are labeled as Grade Horse. My herd is trained in Dressage but I've seen a few other breeders who trained their herd in different disciplines so I couldn't collaborate with them.
