Conformation Training

If you are bumping for responses, it may be worth making a separate suggestion post with the different conformation idea? Or I can move this thread to suggestions also.

Just tossing in my 2cents here lolz.. ( not that it's worth that much lol)

If you wanna talk older players, I'm almost certain I am one of the oldest.. I'll be 59 this year so ya lol..

I'm not a confo breeder but kudos to all those who are focusing on that in their game play. I'll worry more about strict confo breeding if/when there ever comes a time that confo will be used to influence comp scores. In another game I play.. confo is an integral part of calculating competition scores and it's as important as overall stats to win in any comps.. but ya, until the time comes that confo has a direct influence on my showing, I'll stick with my low nss/high stat horses.. ( I do keep a large group of confo horses locked for now tho)

As for releasing the horses of players who haven't been active in a while.. well.. I've been playing on and off since 2012 and during those years, I have taken a few breaks from the game. I currently own the highest statted Appaloosas on EV and I would mortified, if I logged back in .. and found my horses were 'taken from me'.. All the work I put in over almost 11 years.. no how, no way..

I agree wholeheartedly with Windspun, also I don't know of a single game where, if you haven't logged in someone else gets your horses and inventory items. Because isn't that classified as stealing?

I myself, am one of the only breeders of Racing Shetlands and I have put nearly 4 years of hard work and dedication into breeding my own horses. I'm one of the only active players of these ponies too. I'm also known for taking long breaks from the game sometimes months at a time, and I would be livid if someone was able to take my stuff and horses, and would quit the game.

The one thing I love about EV is the locking and progress system. I can easily take breaks if needed, and therefore I do not have to worry about my horses aging, dying, or changing in any way while I am gone. The game also doesn't age your horses unless you press the progress button which is something I love. The other games where your horse's age automatically each day never last long with me due to me leaving most games when real life gets hectic or my mental health plays up.

If I was to log in one day and find my horses gone, that's it I would quit and probably write a furious note to the game owner demanding everything back...I wouldn't be the only one to. If you are desperate to have someone's horses I suggest breeding and training your own lines and it should be more of an incentive to try and get your own horses as good as someone else's. Plus there is nothing better than seeing how each generation has improved over the course of breeding and training your own lines.

In terms of player age, I know this game has a lot of older players...by older, I mean above 20+ ...I myself am nearing 30.
