Star
Star stand in front of the sun to keep it from blinding Nyx eyes, since she was used to the darkness. "Okay just her me know of u need anything okay?" She hoped Rowan wasn't gonna be mad at her, for trying to her his daughter. She contuoned to be like a tent for Nyx for along as the sun shined in. She hoped the foal would come soon and that Nyx could get some rest afterwards. 

Nyx
     "I think I can handle the rest on my own," she said adjusting to the light, "Just tell my father you went for a walk or something...and thanks..." she said. Nyx had laid down a few more times before she stayed laying down. She constantly put her muzzle to both of her sides, and the sweating had stopped though she was damp with it in several spots. The chestnut roan mare would soon be in stage 2. 

Rowan
     "I think it should be fine to search the area to see if she's nearby. She probably just took shelter to hide from the snow," he said trying to keep positive scenarios in his head. The two stallions walked out of the cave as they started to search the area unaware of what was actually happening. 

Star
"You're welcome, you are gonna be a great mother Nyx remember that!" She said as she walked out of the cave and went back into the forest not leaving any tracks behind on where she left nor where she went. She walked about an hours to only make it back to the den. Only too find the lead stallion and Rico gone. "They must of went and searched for her" she said quietly so no one would her where she went.  She laid in the corner of the den and finally went to sleep.

Rico
     "There's no sign of her anywhere! Where could she be?" he said getting more and more worried as more time passed. After about an hour and a half of searching, the two stallions returned with no luck.
     "I'm sure she's fine Rico. She's my daughter after all..." he said as they came back to the herd as they noticed they didn't succeed. Rowan saw the one mare and walked up to her, "Have you seen my daughter at all today? She wasn't here when you weren't either." he said thinking something was up. 

Nyx
     Nyx got up one last time, and laid back down. Within about 30 minutes, the mare's water had broken indicating stage 2. "I guess it's finally time..." she said once it broke as a fourth of the pain had gone away before, but some of it had returned.

Star
"No, sorry I went for a walk for a while, and didn't come back until now. But Rico have you tried checking the Cave that I showed you guys for when the foal comes, maybe that where she is. Other wise I haven't seen her all day. Sorry". 

She Trotted to the Creek to drink some water and watched the creek water glisten through the sunlight sarkple. She laid in the water kinda like giving herself a bath at that point. She knew she had to tell Rowan how she felt about him, but the real question was did her feel the same way about her? That's was always an unanswered qiestion for her, because the stallion never really talked to her. She contuined to lay in the creek's water, feeling nice and relaxed for the day.

Rico
     "I never thought about it.." he said looking at Rowan who told him to go and check. Rico walked through the snow as some areas were deeper than others, and made it harder to walk in. Rico had the feeling that was where the mare had came from seeing some tracks here and there coming from the other way. Though, it would be awhile until he'd reach the destination.

Nyx
     It was only a matter of minutes before Nyx had to start pushing. She had no other choice even though she felt like she wasn't ready. "Oh Rico...if only you were here.." she said painfully, but little did she know he was on his way. It would normally take a mare 10 to 20 minutes to have the foal, but with maiden mares, such as Nyx, it could be 30 to 40 minutes. Nyx neighed painfully as she pushed having the front legs and part of the muzzle out. This whole was exhausting for her, and she didn't know if she could do it.

Rowan
     Rowan looked at the mare as she walked off. He had the feeling she knew where Nyx was, but wondered why she would instead of him or Rico. Though he didn't question it...yet. The stallion instead followed her to the creek, "I suppose I'm too snooty to talk to," he said standing from a distance.

Star
"After our last conversation. I ddidmt know if you still wanted time talk to me, cause you just walked off with out saying anything. Its not that you are snotty, you are just hard to read sometimes. Im sorry". She got of the creek and shaked the water off of her. "Do u wanna join me in eating some lushly green grass?" She asked the stallion curiously wondering if he would appecct.

Rowan
     "That's how most stallions are out in the wild. We fight each other over the mares, and sometimes over each other's whole herd. Each herd has their own territory. If you were spotted by a stallion outside of my territory, you'd be forced into his herd whether you like it or not. It's just how most of us are." he said trying to explain things to her. "But you also made it clear you didn't want to talk." he added.

Nyx
     The mare had taken a break from pushing once the knees and start of the muzzle were out as she was out of breath. The mare got up, and laid back down trying to find a more comfortable spot. After about 10 minutes, she had no choice but to push once again even though she was exhausted. A few pushes later, and the rest of the front legs and head were visible, but still in the bag. Nyx breathed heavily as she didn't want to go on. She was exhausted, and needed a break. Though, she couldn't just take a break from bringing new life to the world. 

Star
"I'm sorry, if u felt that way. I always wanna talk to you, but its just sometimes I got the sense you didn't wanna talk to me or nonetheless want me around, but I understand". She stepped in the creek and bent her head down drinking from the creek, which was cold, but it was a nice cold feeling. "You know, maybe u lightened up a bit you would be fun to be around. Just joking around with you" she was teasing him at this point, in a funny way. Hopefully he took the teasing not seriously.

Rowan
     The stallion wasn't really used to teasing or joking around, but he didn't have much time to just mess and joke around. Rowan had spilled what he had been trying to say for a few days, "I'll let you stay with the herd until the end of winter, and I'll determine whether or not you can stay." he said before taking a drink from the creek.

Nyx
     Nyx neighed as the she couldn't take much more of the pain. She was close to being done with it all, but she was too exhausted to continue. "No...I can do this..." she said trying to bring herself back together, "I hope...". The mare tried to push again, but this was the hardest part. It had been about half an hour since she had started to push, but the shoulders were the hardest part. With a couple of harder and longer pushes she overcame the hardest part. The mare had taken a few minutes to regain her strength before giving it one last push. She had done it. Nyx was now a mother, and she had done it. The sac that held the foal, had split open as the foal moved breathing it's first breaths. Though, Nyx staid laid down as she would for about another half hour.

Rico
     Rico had come across the cave about 20 minutes after Nyx had delivered the foal. "Nyx!?" he called out trotted over to her, "I was worried sick!" he said putting his muzzle on her's. "What are yo-" he paused seeing the foal. 
     Nyx sat up as she heard Rico, "Rico?" she said exhausted as she nuzzled him in return. "I'm sorry I didn't wake you...you needed the sleep." she said once he noticed the foal.

Star
"You don't know how much this means to me Rowan. I know its only for a few months, but.. Well I am trying to say is that I appreciate you letting me stay with you". She walked up to Rowan and acddiently Nuzzled him out of kindest without thinking about it. "Ohhh I'm soon sorry, that wasn't suppose to happened. I promise it won't hapoen again". She felt nervous about what just happened and what she did.

Rico
     "No it's alright. I honestly thought it'd still be a few days..." he said nuzzling her once again before looking at his new...son. "You should get some rest.." he said standing beside her as she got up. 
     Nyx turned around gazing at her new colt. "He has your eyes," she said as she started cleaning the foal. Soon enough he tried to stand only to fall and tumble a few times. "Come on little one, you can do it" she said softly as the colt managed to stand. The newborn colt took a few steps before getting the milk he needed. 
     "You did great babe," he said nuzzling her. As the foal nursed, Nyx placed her head on Rico's back falling asleep. Rico stood still as she slept for about an hour or two as he watched his newborn son. After about an hour and a half he woke up Nyx, "We should get back to the herd." he said softly.
     The mare slowly woke up, "Alright" she said as they started to head back. Though, Nyx just kinda leaned against Rico still exhausted as the foal trotted alongside Nyx.

Star
    Star was embarrassed for what she had just did "i-im sorry Rowan". She trotted out the creek and back into the den, she kept on thinking why would she do that? And that the fact he didnt even react to it. Did he have feeling for her too? There where so many unanswered questions about this stallion. 

     After star had reached the den from the creek, she laid down in the back of the den kinda hidden from the other horses, but of course with her black coat color and her white splotched dapples, she easily spotted in the corner of the den. She saw Rowan approach her "is everything alright?" She asked the stallion. 

Nyx
     Nyx walked alongside Rico leaning on him a bit with how exhausted she was. Their new colt trotted around in front of them occasionally coming back to Nyx not going too far. A little bit later, and they had returned to the herd. Some of the other mares looked saw the three returning shocked to see the colt. The herd had started to move to the side and whisper in awe. Soon enough Rowan got curious turning around.

Rowan
     The stallion was shocked at what the mare did, "It's alright. Just remember you are a part of my herd for now, and I'm the leader." he said before she walked off back to the cave. Rowan approached her, "Since you'll be with my herd for a little while, I'm going to have to know your nam-" he was distracted and caught off guard as the herd was making some commotion behind him. "What is goin-" he said but stopped once he turned around seeing Nyx. Her head was halfway to the ground, and she was leaning on Rico. "What happened? Are you OK?" he said walking up to them worried.
     "I'm fine father.." she said as the colt popped out from behind her. Rowan's eyes widened at the sight. The stallion was too shocked to say anything, but nuzzled his daughter.

Star
"Im- S" she was about to say when she was cut off by Nyx  and Rico returning with a colt beside them. She knew that nyx could it because she was strong like her father. "Awww Look at the little colt. He is soo cute. Did you guys pick out a name for him yet?" She asked the made and the guard stallion. Star finally finally felt she belonged somewhere now, even though its was only for a while it still felt like home. And she hoped to stay here in this jerd for a long time, but that wasn't for her to deicide though. It was up to Rowan since he was the lead stallion of the herd.
