Rowan
     All he gave was a loud snort as he walked over to Nyx and Rico. He tried to talk to her for once, and he was on the edge of loosing it. He was on the edge of loosing everything. He nuzzled Nyx and Rico before walking to the back of the herd as he laid down. Soon enough the sun was down, and the moon was up. Rowan was the last to fall asleep that night.

Nyx
     Nyx was sleeping until she woke up to a sharp pain. The mare had a feeling that it was time, and started to freak out a bit. Though she stayed silent, and got herself together. Nyx left the safety of the cave, and walked through the middle of the night to the spot.

Star
star didn't know what to do, if she should say sorry to him or to give him space. She was confused with lead stallion at this point. She didn't wanna tell him that she had feelings for him, after he had just said that his mate had died a year ago. What could she do? Should she just tell him how she feels or wait to play it out in the mean time? But she said about him giving her the courage to finally the first she had saw her, was truthful part of what she had said to him.

Nyx
     Nyx had made her way to the spot stopping as she perked her ears do to the sound of a wolf howling. Though, she was not alarmed as it was just the one. The mare kept trekking through the snow as she felt more and more pain. "I don't remember it being this far away, I hope I'm going the right way," she said painfully trying to see if there was anything familiar. Though, it had started to snow hard again, and she couldn't see much of anything. "Oh why does it have to be tonight," she cursed. Despite not knowing if she was going the right way, Nyx kept going. 
     The mare occasionally stopped to see where she was, and because of sharp pains that came and went few and far between. She had to find this place sooner or later, but within about a few more minutes, she had arrived. The mare moved around constantly as she had gotten into the first stage of labor. It was common for mares to move around, and get up and down over and over again during this time.

Star deicide she needed a walk in the forest. She trekked thorough the forest and spotted something that looked like a horse, but there was something famiilar about that horse "Nyx!? Is that you? What are u doing this late in the woods!?" She approached Nyx and coould tell something was off about her. She then realized that this was the cave she picked out for her and the foal "your having the foal!?" She whinnied softly.

Nyx
     Nyx was a bit startled by the mare, "I-I think I-" she was caught off due to a sudden burst of pain. "Y-yeah I think I am..." she said once the sharp pain decreased. "What are you even doing out here?" she asked painfully. Nyx kept on moving around as well as laying down and getting up. It was normal as a mare was in the first stage. She pawed often, and shifted her weight quite often. The mare often lifted her hind legs one at a time as she was nervous and couldn't fine much comfort. Though, this foal wasn't going to come quick. It was close to midnight, and the foal wouldn't be born until about 5 in the morning. In the meantime, Nyx just had to wait it out as she grew even more nervous.

Star
"Never mind why I'm out here. Do u need me to go get Rico and your father? Or do u want me to stay here with you?" She kindly offered the mare. Star felt so bad that she was in so much pain right now, and wish could help here, but all she could do was be there for comfort or if she wanted her to leave she would do that too. But right she was staying put for everyone safety.

Nyx
     Once another burst of pain has decreased she spoke, "They don't get much sleep, so they need it. I guess I could use some company for awhile..." she said quite nervous. "Just don't tell my father you were here for awhile. He'd probably get mad..." she said not wanting to anger her father. Some contractions were worse than others, and Nyx just couldn't stay put. She sweaty, and kept lifting her hind legs one at a time as well as shifting her weight around.

Rowan
     Rowan had woken up a bit after midnight as he stood up. Though, he was too tired to notice his daughter was gone, as his eyes were heavy. Soon enough the stallion would fall back asleep only to wake up later than what he was supposed to.

Star
"Okay I'll stay with you for a while. Let me know if u need help with anything". She laid in the cave Nyx, trying to help her in anyway she can with foaling progress. She gather some supplies before hand like food to eat for her after she was done with the birthing progress though she might be tires afterwards. 

Nyx
     Nyx just moved around constantly as the time slowly passed. Nyx wasn't just nervous, she was completely terrified. This was her first foal, and it made her very nervous. What is the foal didn't make it? What if I can't do it? What if something went wrong?? She kept asking question like those in her head as she only stopped moving when she had a contraction. Her tail kept swishing side to side as she held it up constantly. The mare walked around in circles and paced back and forth more frequently then she did lay down for moments at a time. Her neck and some parts of her body were covered in sweat as she constantly moved around as she would for the next several hours. Nyx wouldn't eat, and she was restless. 
     "I can't do this no more!" she said after several hours and she was still in the first stage. Some mares would prolong the foal, but it was only Nyx's first time, so she couldn't. Though with it being her first time as well, her labor would be longer than most.

" Nyx Listen to me, yes you can do it! Even though I don't knkw you well enough, you're a strong fighter and can get through thise . just think of all the possible things you could bring to this world. And the joy you would bring Rico... I knkw he loves you will all his heart". She tried to comfort Nyx in any wah she can.  "Just relax, and time will fly by like its nothing, it is almost 3am just a few more hours and you are done".

Nyx
     "Except you don't know how much longer it will be. Last foaling season one of the mares was in this stage for days...I can't relax. I'm terrified..." she said as she one of the worst contractions she had all night. "W-what if I'm not ready? " she said after some of the pain went away. Nyx didn't know how much more of this she could take. It was too much for her, and it was worse than she expected. Though as time passed, the worse it got. She often put her head to her sides, and she just couldn't get comfortable.

Star
"Nyx listen to me! You are gonna be a threat mother to this foal! Yeah sure, you might not be ready to be a mother but you are gonna do great, and just think some of those mares out there are ready either, but look how great they turned out to be. You have to stay strong for the foal & Rico & your father". She tried encouraging Nyx to keep going and that she was gonna be a wonderous mother to the foal.

Nyx
     "Maybe..." she said worried. The same thing continued for about another 5 hours. Soon enough it would be time, and Nyx was restless, exhausted, nervous, and terrified. The sun slowly went up as it only came closer to when it was time. In the meantime, Nyx just had to hang in there a little bit longer. The contractions only got a lot worse as it got closer, but they also got fairly close together. This gave her a lot more pain.

Rico
     Rico woke up before everyone else, as he noticed Nyx was gone. "Nyx?" he said wondering where she had gone. After a couple minutes of searching for any sign of her, Rico went to wake up Rowan. "I can't find Nyx...s-she's gone.." he said starting to get worried.
     "What do you mean? She's gone? She can't just disappear lik-" he froze walking to the entrance of the cave. "It snowed again last night. Her tracks are covered...we can't go searching for her like this." he said starting to get more worried at time passed.

Star
"You just have to hang in there a litrle bit longer. Youre not to far along until the foal is born Nyx". She sat by nyx's side trying to comfort her in any possible way. The sun was shining and the light had hit directly into the enteramce of through cave. Making the snow glistening prettyly in a hard time that Nyx was having. "Here I might have something that can help the pain alottle if u want, my mom tought me about it, sorry I would of offered it sooner". She asked the Mare.

Nyx
     "But you don't know how much longer it could be..." she said in distress. Though the mare was right...it wouldn't be much longer. Nyx felt a bit of a change as some of the pain went away. "I-I think it's close..." she said feeling a bit relieved, "I think I can handle the rest by myself..." she said. The light had kinda blinded her as she had been awake most of the night and got used to the darkness.

Rico
     "Can't we just go out looking for her??" he asked getting more and more worried as time passed. "What if she's in trouble?" he said thinking of every worst possibility.
     "The snow is too deep Rico. I want to go out there as must as you do, but there is nothing we can do until the snow melts. Besides we could get lost and stuck out there. Let's just wait for a bit alright?" he said trying not be worried, but he was. Though Rowan noticed that the one was gone. Maybe she left for good, or she had something to do with Nyx.
