Training and Riding School Suggestion

Looked, but couldn't find any suggestions for this already, so here we go.

Had an idea for something to add to the training and riding schools. I think it'd be beneficial to do something similar to what we have for the "Horse Search" option, where only the arenas/riding schools of members active within the last 7 days (or whatever amount) are shown, with a button one could select to view all arenas, pretty much like what we've got for the Horse Search. The reason for this is so often when trying to train horses, I go to the member that owns the arena's page, and find they haven't been active for some time, in some cases a year or two, but still have Deluxe left, as well as often millions of EVD lying stagnate in their account. I personally would much rather support active players, and keep the money "rotating" I guess you could say, but often don't have the time to actively go through a bunch of arenas or riding schools in order to find ones that belong to active members. And if it was left an option to still look at ones owned by non-active members, players should still be able to find arenas/riding schools they need even if no active members currently have any.

What are folks thoughts on this, or reasons for or against?

It functions as a money sink currently, as it's a two way street. The people who are already very wealthy would receive more business as well, which kind of counters anything positive that could possibly come from it. Plus I think it tops out at about 40-50 people online, and if you assuming there's maybe 20 odd or so who just log for progression, not only would it cut the list in half, but you don't know what level everyone's arenas are/how many slots/etc.

@goat, I'm not sure I understand what you are saying (though it has been a long day and is pretty late for me, so it could just be my brain has gone to sleep). It sounds like you are saying/worried that it would only show you a few and they might not have enough arenas for what you need. Perhaps it could be made to be more like the horse search then, where you could say you would like ones with X amount of slots to show up and the ability to toggle on/off active members.

I don't think there are too many deluxe players who just log on for the progression. I could be wrong, but like when I had deluxe on this account if I got on I made sure I used my EVC/money worth and didn't just get on for the progression, but even if so, perhaps they are saving up to buy something they want and are using the deluxe interest to help that along.
