Mason
"That's okay," he replied, his words slightly muffled by his cigarette. His eyes flitted over to the door to their room for a second - Jesus, what's taking so long? - before he decided to walk up to it. He paused once he was there, though, stopping and turning his head a little toward Chance again. He took out his cigarette and tapped it against the doorknob to knock off the ash; he opened his mouth to say something, but he had no idea what he should say, so after a moment he closed it again and resorted to just reaching over and gently squeezing Chance's shoulder instead.
Then, in a rapid change of pace, Mason threw the door open, causing it to bounce roughly against the wall inside and likely disturb whoever was in the next room. "Are you two done? It's time to go."

Auberon

Auberon was about to reply to Outlaw when Mason's sudden noise startled him. He threw a glare in the old man's direction, snapping back with, "And haven't you lived long enough to know that interrupting people is rude, idiot?"

Outlaw
She flinched slightly when the door was thrown open, but was quick to collect herself. "I reckon." She mumbled, walking over to where her stuff was. Hoisting the guitar case over her shoulder, she did a mental check of everything she needed before turning to face Mason and Auberon's direction.

Mason
"Good, good, great," he replied offhandedly, his disinterested tone suggesting he hadn't really listened to their responses. Using his free hand, he waved hurriedly for the pair to join himself and Chance outside the room, rocking back and forth a little as he did so despite his (admittedly minimal) efforts not to. "C'mon, this is one of the only times you'll ever find me not wanting to be late to something. Let's go," he snapped lightly, not really as annoyed as he was acting but also very much so not willing to wait any longer; whatever kind of leadership skills he thought (or maybe just wished) he had were lost in his excited impatience.

Outlaw
She grabbed her guitar case as she rose to her feet. Slinging it over one shoulder, she strode to the door, her lanky frame ducking through the doorway past Mason to wait beside Chance. She glanced at Mason again once outside, slight amusement dancing faintly in her eyes at his excitement. At least someone was happy.

Auberon

Auberon stood in the silence for a minute, his eyes drifting back and forth between two spots on the wall in front of him. He felt disoriented and confused, but he had to be solid for the group. This was their big night- the last thing he wanted was to ruin it. He pondered lightly for a minute if Mason would be willing to help him, but upon thinking about it he shut his eyes and gritted his teeth as the sharp, burning pain came to his forehead. No one would help him; he should have known that.
The boy looked up, shaking his head as he stepped forward to go meet the rest of the group. As he did so, he caught a glimpse of an all too familiar stuffed animal in the corner. Phillip? His head shot around to the corner, but nothing was there. Anxiously, Auberon watched the corner, then looked around him before he sighed and wiped his eyes clear of the anxiety-induced tears. Pull yourself together, Buddy. Big day. Don't mess up. He bolted for the door, stopping just before it but still hurrying to get outside where the familiarity of his bandmates would ease the lingering anger and fear he was concealing inside his dark mind.

Chance
As the rest of the band filtered into the hallway, Chance's mounting worry about running late or running out of time was somewhat placated. The way Auberon exited the room had him taking a second look, something about his mannerisms or expression. Chance picked up his guitar case, gripping the handle a little tight, and shuffled a few steps toward his bandmate. He wondered if he'd misjudged his behavior earlier, and felt a little guilty for that. "Hey, uh, you're going to do okay-- great, probably." Chance wished words came as easily to his tongue as they did to his pen. Speaking to Auberon, trying to help what he perceived as anxiety about the upcoming performance, he felt that he was in part also consoling himself. "It'll go fine and it'll be fun; that's important, I think? Enjoying ourselves."

Auberon

Auberon had been staring blankly at the ground when he was slightly startled by Chance speaking to him. He looked up quickly towards the boy, but his sudden anxiety was quickly eased by Chance's words. Or was it his words? His whole demeanor seemed so small and helpless, but caring that Auberon couldn't help but be eased by his presence.
Auberon rapidly blinked back extra tears that were threatening to let loose, spacing out into Chance's eyes as he subconsciously eased the boy's physical anxiety as a way of saying thank you.
"Thanks... really, it means a lot..." Aub mumbled, parting his gaze from Chance's eyes and attempting to control his power over Chance's body. He didn't need to be drained of energy more then he already was, though he hoped what he did would help Chance feel confident.
