Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

"Let me look at you baby." Areli crooned to her daughter, checking her over, gently pushing on her belly that was quite swollen. She didn't let it show on her face, but inside, her heart was jumping up and down in excitement, and could barely conceal her giggle. "Wow, you two have been active, and you've been mates for only 2 days." Areli whispered into her daughter's ear and giggled with a huge grin.

(Gotta take my Mid-Term for this one online class. Be back after I finish!) (Finished it and made an 86/100!!!! :D

Sengo watched as the lion flew back and forth before finally standing in front of him and asking him a question. "I don't think she is hungry, but you may ask her if she wants it when they summon us." he answered, still filling up the bucket.

Alina smiled at her mother and asked her "Do you think I'm...pregnant?" She did not know for certain, she had only been with her mate for two days. Her eyes sparkled differently now, almost motherly.

Star stared longingly at the door to Areli and Sengo's home, hoping they would come out soon. He placed the bird in the shade and sat next to it, gazing across the vast lands.

Alina smiled at her mother and asked her "Do you think I'm...pregnant?" She did not know for certain, she had only been with her mate for two days. Her eyes sparkled differently now, almost motherly.

Sengo looked over at the male, smiling when he could tell he loved Alina. He always enjoyed seeing happy mates.

"Yes you are. Amazing, after only two days. Obviously you are fertile. Now, eat these leaves, and you will feel better." She gave Alina some mint leaves and trotted outside. "Oh Star.......... Alina has something to tell you....." She told him in a sing-song voice and trotted over to Sengo. "I like how you cleaned our den. It looks great. And, I am going to be a grandmother." She whispered into his ear lovingly, purring, and rubbing against him.

Alina ate the leaves obediently, sitting up and waiting for Star. She licked her fur back, tidying her self up a little and waiting for him patiently.

Sengo grinned at Areli, rubbing against her in return and licking her face. "I'm glad you like it, grandma." he whispered the last part into her ear very quietly, so Star couldn't hear. He held back chuckles, liking the sound of 'grandma'.

Star's large ears flicked forwards as he turned his head towards Alina. He sat there for a moment, before getting up, bringing the bird to her. He dropped it at her paws. "I kinda caught it. More like landed on it." He smiled.

Alina smiled at Star, biting her lip in excitement. "Star, I have something to tell you." she spoke lovingly, walking over to him and rubbing her face against him, purring. She licked his cheeks, and whispered sweetly into his ear "Thank you for the bird, Daddy."


Sengo grinned at Areli, rubbing against her in return and licking her face. "I'm glad you like it, grandma." he whispered the last part into her ear very quietly, so Star couldn't hear. He held back chuckles, liking the sound of 'grandma'.

"Imma, Imma, Imma daddy?" He stuttered. Star turned to look Alina in the eyes. "R..really?!" His head spin. "M..my, I..I mean our babies," he purred, "a..are in you?"

(He stutters when he's really happy/nervous)

"I do too, but rather like the name Granny over Grandma. I'm not that old yet!" Areli protested with a laugh and smiled at Sengo.

Cali and Valido were once more active, having slept most of the day, while the rest of the pride were beginning to settle down for the night, they were just waking up, stretched thoroughly, and got ready to go hunting. They had asked the pride to not bother saving anything for them to eat, for they liked to hunt for themselves, and spent a lot of time in the process learning how to work together in everything. Valido was learning how to let Cali make a lot of decisions, for she was the future Queen once Kali stepped down, but she listened to his suggestions as well, for a good couple learned to work together, and listened to one another. They did really well together, always caught something to eat, and had lots of intimate time together. Another reason why Cali and Valido spent a lot of time being intimate, for she wanted to chase any chance of her being pregnant with Tutankhamun's cubs at all out of her body, and be pregnant with Valido's babies.

Alina nodded, grinning and giggling a little by his reaction. She took his paw, placing it gently on her stomach letting him feel how it had swelled slightly. "In a matter of weeks they'll be kicking like little warriors." she whispered, looking at him happily.

Sengo chuckled, nuzzling her and gently pushing her by the shoulder. "You've made me so happy Areli." he whispered, loving on her face sweetly.

Areli crinkled her face at him, smiled, and pushed him down. "You. Are. It!!!!" She laughed and raced off, trying to lose him, jumped into the river, and swam upstream about 1/2 mile. She got out on the other side of the river, shook off, and trotted in the tall grass back towards her den.

Star nuzzled her nose. "Our little warriors." He told her. He wrapped a wing around her and helped her up, "Come," Star told her, "Let's go home." He licked her ear, picked up the bird and walked home with her.

Areli saw the happy couple walking home, smiled, and continued on her merry way home. She liked to play, something she hadn't done since Mojo had been alive, and realized how much she had missed it. She had been forced to grow up super fast, after discovering that she was pregnant, giving birth, and then pining for her cubs while learning how to be a healer like her father.

Sengo decided to hide and wait, getting ready to catch her once she passed the den. He hid behind the door of her den, hiding in the shadows. He grinned mischievously, his heart pounding in anxiousness.

Alina nodded, following her mate home. Her tail intertwined with his as they walked, her nuzzling and licking his face. (Fade out since they're going back to their den?)
