Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Star nuzzled her. "I love you babe." He told her, "We'll stay, I want to restore my parents old home, and make it our own, it'll be ready for our family." He smiled. He couldn't wait until he had little cubs to call his own, for his sister was half way along, and he was excited for her, and Malka, the father.

Alina purred, the thought of cubs was exciting, she just hoped she would be able to bear him cubs. "I can't wait to see little wings, and those chubby cheeks." she cooed, rubbing her nose playfully against his. "I might even be a sister, if Areli and Sengo become mates." she giggled.

The male growled then dropped them and bolted off quickly. Sulu and Julu both gave a wail and crawled to Sully blinking there hazel eyes. Syrup looked at Jewl and pressed her ear against her and sighed as she felt nothing. All of a sudden Jewl's spirit rose out of her body and she looked at her friend.

Star nuzzled her and gave her a cheeky smile. "Just remember, since I'm a hybrid, and your pureblood," he spoke, "some of our Cubs may have disabilities." He looked into her eyes. "Could it be blindness, deafness, or a deformed limb. Most likely it'll effect the wings and eyes."

"Well I'll just have to be an extra protective mama." she grinned, resting her head against his chest. "If one of our cubs will have a dead wing, will we have to amputate it?" Alina asked him in a concerned tone, looking back up at him.

Star purred, glad that he had such a wonderful lioness as his mate. "Maybe, if it hurts him or her." He told her. "But, I do have a bit of magic in me, from my Papa, that if there is a dead limb, I can make it healed, partly." He said, "But the cub's limb will probably not be able to be used properly." He licked her head, hoping to comfort her.

Alina pushed him over, wanting to cheer up their conversation. She giggled, tickling his sides and his neck. "You'll never catch me!" she yelled as she jumped off of him, running off ahead of him.

Star chuckled at her, standing. "You must've forgot!" He called, spreading his wings, "That I have these!!" Star ran after her, using his wings to propel him faster, his paws barely touching the ground. He soon caught up, and tackled Alina from above. They rolled together, Star laughing. "I love you so much." He said and nuzzled her when they came to a stop, laying side by side at the river bank.

It completely passed her mind about his wings, but then again she wanted him to catch her. Alina rubbed her head against his, loving on his face with licks and tender nuzzles. "And I love you." she whispered, pawing at his face playfully but lovingly as well. "It's hard to believe just I a week ago I met you, crying your poor heart out and practically choking on meat." I sighed stopping for a moment before continuing to love on him.

Star smiled and rubbed his face on hers. He stood, helping her up. "Wanna swim?" He chuckled, pushing her into the calm river. He splashed in after her, soaking her.

"Star!" she yelled in a fake angry voice, the cold water sending shivers through her spine. Alina splashed him with her tail, standing up in the shallow water, her fur completely soaked. She shook her fur, sending water droplets everywhere.

Star gave her a cheeky grin and used his thick tail to splash her. His thick, insulated, blue fur kept him warm, even though soaked. "Can't catch me!" He laughed and ran to the deeper water, and dived in, using his wings to guide him along the small currents.

Alina rolled her eyes, stepping out of the water and onto the river shore. She chased after him on land, the wind blowing through her wet fur. She wanted to mess with him and stopped, turning around and pranced off to a small ledge near the opposite side of the lake. Alina plopped down on the rock, sticking her head up in the air and giving him a sassy look.

"This little guy will be fine. He just broke his trunk while roughhousing with his friends." Areli patted the calf gently on his butt, sending him trotting back to his mother, packed up her stuff, got ready to head back, when she heard another animal crying in pain. "Wanna take this one?" She looked at Malka with a smile and trotted off towards the sound. When she arrived at the spot the cry was coming from, she stopped suddenly, eyes got huge, and she had a worried expression on her face. "Oh great! It's a Bushbuck and it's in the middle of the Water Buffalo herd!" The Bushbuck's were quite spooky, trying to reach their injured member, but the Water Buffalo kept refusing to give them access, and blocked their every move. "We need to get that calf!!! C'mon you big lugs, let us through!!!" The Bushbuck's cried out, frowning, and trying to force themselves through. The calf was hurt, down on it's side, and crying for its mother; who brayed, a dangerous look came upon her face, and she tried even more desperately to get through. The herd bunched up even more, refusing, and Areli frowned. "You see this Malka? Do you have any idea of how to get those buffalo to move Malka?" She sighed, sat down, and stared at the milling Water Buffalo herd. The Bushbuck herd continued to circle the herd, trying to get their injured calf out so Areli and Malka could help him, but none of the Bushbuck's could get in.

Sully picked up Sulu and Julu and trotted back to Syrup. "Is she living or not? I got her cubs back from that rogue who attacked her. Either way, these little ones are going to their Uncle Solo." He told her after he gently put the cubs down on a soft moss-bed.

Star eyed Alina and dove under the water, deep enough so she could see him. He glided towards her, and crept up the rock underneath her. He quickly flew up and grabbed her around her waist, their bellies pressed together as he flew up, nuzzling her fave and giggling.

Malka gazed at the Bushbacks, and then to the Buffalos. "I bet Tarzan could get them to move, with out hurting them." He suggested. "And maybe get Assassin to fly in and cover up the calf, just in case. His roar won't hurt him, now that he's technically our brother-in-law."
