Deceased/retired

I've noticed horses put into early retirement are displayed as, "deceased" in Former Horses D: 
I think it would be cool if it elaborated whether the horse was actually deceased or if the horse was just retired (: Regardless, the horse would still be deleted from the game and that aspect stays the same.
I know it's just a game but I suddenly feel like I've been killing off my pixel horses D:

Support - it also might be nice to have a section on the home page, like the current 'former horses', but 'retired horses'. And then when they reach age 22 move to 'former horses', perhaps (but probably not this last) with a note somewhere "this horse was retired early". I dunno.

I wouldn't mind this being added to the game as long as it does not show up as deceased in pedigree which would create broken lines
