Imgur hates PNGs?

Curious if anyone else is having an issue with this right now. If I have a transparent .png file, imgur converts to a .jpg file. Which gives it an ugly black background.

It's only just recently (last two days) been doing that. Yes I'm 100% sure I'm saving my .pngs correctly.

I'll note that I don't usually use imgur but when I have before it uploaded transparency just fine.

I just tried it out with no issues, maybe you were trying when Imgur was having one of it's server 'episodes'. Which knowing the site, happens quite often.

Probably. Didn't know that was a thing lol. Got some uploaded fine yesterday.

I've had that happen before. I even contacted imgur about it and they told me it's because the file size was too big. So I had to size it down before I could upload it as a png to imgur. Super weird but.. yeah.

Really? Cause I tried the same one that didn't work before and it uploaded fine. Lol.
