Louis
"They aren't fictional," Louis said with a small, incredulous shake of his head. "What's your name? You're the only one who's name I don't know now." 

Rowan
"I'm Rowan."

Louis
He nodded. "Alright. I'm going to go find a house." Louis looked at the different paths available to him before picking a likely option and starting that way. 

Alice
"No, really? I thought someone beat you up because they felt like it. I mean, understandable." Alice grumbled, crossing her arms. She vaguely recognized this guy, but where from she couldn't put her finger on it. All she knew for sure was that he irritated her almost immediately.

Kaylee
"Maybe I should start with-" Kaylee cut herself off when dizziness struck her so harshly that she slumped to the ground, pressing her back against the wall. "Or resting. That works too."

Harper
"Okay, I'm all about fighting, but could everyone suck their lives up and just work together for five minutes? Just five," Harper grunted, turning and following Louis.

Mason
 Mase ignored Harper, shooting Alice a glare. "These guys have a reason to hate me. You, on the other hand, just got here. Mind waiting until you have a legitimate reason to make my life significantly more difficult? Thanks. Your efforts are appreciated," he grumbled through gritted teeth, drawing in a shaky breath after he was done speaking; he cut the breath off with a tiny yelp of pain, hand closing even more tightly over his damaged ribs. Pain lingered in his eyes for much longer than he would have liked, though, considering how much of it he was in, he couldn't really do anything about that. He hesitantly glanced back up at Alice, opening his mouth to say something, but not knowing what to say. Is this how I die? This is... not cool. I'd much prefer to be murdered by an old adversary. I guess this is what I get for lying to... everyone, really. I'm sorry.

Louis
He noticed that Harper had followed and slowed down slightly so she could keep up. Louis entered the street he had decided to look for houses on. 

Alice
Alice was going to sneer a remark, bur she caught the pathetically pained noise from Mason and thought better of it. "Come and argue with me when you're well enough that I won't feel bad about punching you." She grumbled, starting to take off after Louis before she stalled - she could almost hear John scolding her now. I can't believe you'd just leave an heavily injured person without any help. He snapped, disgust splayed on his face. Actually, no. I CAN believe it. You're so goddamn selfish, Alice. "If you want some help, we can play nice until you're okay."

Harper
Harper jogged further up to Louis, skipping every now and then to keep by his side and not fall behind.

Louis
"Hey, Princess, if it's not too much of a bother could you point me toward where to find a house?" Louis asked, seemingly into the air, as he walked slowly down the street (having slowed down considerably after he realized Harper was still struggling to keep up).

Harper
Harper glanced up at Louis, slightly confused but at the same time completely knowing what he was talking about. She felt a slight breeze that flowed down the street to their left, though she didn't think much of it.

Mason
 "...It'd be appreciated," he muttered after taking a moment to swallow his pride, carefully stepping closer to her. "And if you don't mind me asking, do you have any idea's of Kaylee's-," He coughed, his mouth filling with the metallic taste of blood, "-Kaylee's whereabouts?"

Louis
He, too, felt the breeze. "Thanks!" Louis followed the path the wind had taken and found himself on a street lined with houses. Most seemed to be occupied, but a few looked empty. He walked down the street, disregarding many of the available houses. He finally found one that looked like it'd probably work and swung the door open. It was bare, unlived in. He walked inside and explored a little bit. This one was larger than the houses he'd been in previously. There was a small kitchen, two small bathrooms, a living room, and several bedrooms. "This'll work."

Alice
Ah. That's who he is. Kaylee's Mason. Alice's words failed her as she carefully brought Mason's arm to rest over her shoulders, muttering her apologies when he hissed as her nails brushed against some sore part on his torso, wrapping the arm around his waist. Alice supporting majority of his weight like this was probably all they could handle - the two would be mortified should Mason need carrying. ".....I'll admit, I don't." She sighed, not particularly feeling like elaborating, but it was probably best she do. "I got banned from seeing John and Kaylee a while back, and haven't really talked to them more than a few letters two years ago."

Mason
 "Oh," Mason replied, a bit more than slightly disheartened. Don't know why I expected good news. He took a cautious step forward, surprised to find that it wasn't all that difficult and certainly didn't require as much effort as it had before Alice had decided to assist him. Mase blinked up at where Louis and Harper had gone, squinting his eyes against the sun. Is the road really that far away?, he wondered silently, gazing out across the expanse of sand wearily.
