"I don't think it would help much at this point... but yeah, I'll take the gun," she said, her eyes starting to sting slightly.

Ahanu 
He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it. After a few minutes, he turned the gelding again. "I..." There's no point in asking. She doesn't want you to come. "Nevermind," he whispered.

Charity
Charity would have left it at that, but she wanted to know what he was going to say. "What?" she asked, resting her chin on his shoulder and closing her eyes.

Ahanu 
He debated with himself for a moment before deciding to just say it since she asked. "I know you probably don't, but if you did want me to go I would." 

Charity
Charity was quiet for a moment. "I know you would," she said. "But- but you'd be safer with Outlaw and Auberon."

Ahanu 
See? He didn't know what to say at first. He just tried not to let his emotions overwhelm him because he was still trying to do the horse things. Finally, he spoke, the admission quiet. "I don't want you to leave."

"I don't want to leave either," she whispered, her voice breaking slightly. She swallowed back a few tears. She hadn't expected it to be this hard.

Ahanu 
"Then... Why..?" Ahanu shook his head, releasing one hand to swipe at blurry eyes before latching back onto the reins.

Charity exhaled through her nose, unwrapping her arms and leaning back on the horses butt slightly. "If you feel comfortable, we can go back and I can get off."

Ahanu
He nodded, pointing the gelding toward the stable. He was more used to the way the horse moved and he wasn't gripping the reins quite as hard. 

Charity
Charity decided it was best not to bring up the subject again- she said what needed to be said, and shee didn't want to say more.

Ahanu
The ride back to the stables was quiet. Ahanu didn't really know what to say, so he just didn't say anything. He returned to inside the stables where he had started and stopped the gelding. 

Charity
Charity slid off the horse and went over to her own, readjusting everything then getting back on. "I'm going over to the arena if you wanna come, though I don't suggest going too far from where I am in case something were to happen."

Ahanu
"How do I get down?" 

Charity
"The reverse way of how you got up. Just without the block. And after you swing your leg over, take your other foot out of the stirrup," she explained.
