Charity
The idea did perk Charity up a bit, and she looked up from the ground thoughtfully. "Sure, but where would we get a horse?"

Ahanu
"We could check in town? There might be a stable with some horses."

Charity
Charity shrugged. "Works for me," she said, heading towards the direction of town. It hadn't been too far from their current position, and they quickly came to the dge of town.

Ahanu
He looked around at the buildings on the edge. The fact he didn't know what a stable looked like was fine because he spotted a sign, though he couldn't quite see the stable itself. Another building stood in the way of his line of vision. Ahanu read the sign aloud. "White Oak Stables. We could see if there are horses there?"

Charity
Charity walked in that direction, quickly come to the stables. "It looks like an English riding stable..." she muttered. "I wonder if they have any Western supplies." She trodded to the entrance, going in and looking around.

Ahanu
What does that even mean? He followed her quietly, looking around the place curiously.

Charity
"And it's... deserted?" Charity frowned at the thought. If the owners weren't here, or alive, the horses could have been in pretty poor shape. Charity let go of Ahanu's hand and went to one of the stalls. It was empty, probably because the door had obviously been broken open. Charity guessed the horses were probably desperate enough to get out if they had needed to. She shrugged the idea off and went into a room she found. "Ahah! They do have Western saddles!"

Ahanu
"I have no idea what that means, but that's good." He studied the saddles and did his best not to get too nervous.

Charity
"Wrll it would suck to learn English so yes, it is good," she said, going over to a rack full of bridals and studying them. She found a Western bridal, then studied the bit for a moment before nodding and swinging it over her shoulder, holding the split reigns in her hand. "Let's go find a horse, I guess," she said, heading out of the room and down the walkway until she came to the exit again. She went outside, scanning the area before she spotted a few horses grazing in a feild. She guessed those horses were probably the more healthier, seeing as the had grass and rainwater. She went down and slipped under the fence, making sure not to spook the horses.

Ahanu
He took a deep breath and followed Charity under the fence, copying her because he didn't know what to do or act around horses.

Charity
A horse looked up from grazing, studied Charity, then pinned its ears a took off in a random direction, bucking a neighing all the way. Charity smiled. "I really like that one. Anyways... I won't put you on it though. I don't really want you to die," she said, smirking slightly and giving Ahanu a semi-mischievious look. She walked up to the group of horses, studying a few for a moment before finding a relatively calm looking paint gelding. He was about 15 hh, with a soft, silky mane and tail, and a spotted white and brown body. Charity approached it slowly, making kissing noises quietly at it, then stroked his head softly. The horse didn't seem to mind her at all and eventually went back to grazing peacefully.

He stayed back at the fence, chuckling a little, albeit nervously (though he wasn't going to admit that), at Charity's joke. He watched the horse she was interacting with. They're so big. I mean, I know it's not the biggest horse out there, but still... I'm used to rats.

Charity
Charity tugged on the horse's halter, undoing it and putting it around its neck, then wrapping her arm around the its head and offering it the bit. The horse took it begrudgingly after a few seconds, and Charity slipped the bridal over its ears, readjusting it as needed (cause it probably wasn't the horse's bridal). She lead the horse around a little bit, trotting it occasionally and at times moving its butt around to get its attention. After she did so, she swung her leg over and managed to get on the horse's back, then sat there stiffly as if expecting the horse to take off on her. It didn't- it just bent its neck to start grazing again. Charity rolled her eyes and forced its head up, nudging it forward and into a slow trot.

He followed Charity and the horse with mild awe. She seemed to really know what she was doing.

Charity
Charity stopped the horse and made him back up a few steps, then stopped him and waited. She decided against her better judgement and nudged him, swinging her loose reign around to smack him in the butt once. The horse went into a canter, snorting in protest and kicked out his back leg slightly. Charity stopped him and put her hands on her hips. "What was that for? You don't like being smacked or you don't like cantering? Probably both- you're a bit lazy." She got off and led him to the gate, opening it and leading him out, then closing it again.
